We dont have the pace to fight for Q3 anyway. It's better to start on Mediums (I hope Ferrari choses Medium lol).

How on earth did Bottas lose so badly despite being so good at Sochi?

He’s an awful driver in the fast Merc car.

Bottas has NOTHING to respond to Hamilton with. Crazy lap by Lewis there. He is capitalizing on having the best car and maximizing his results.

Charles voicing his disdain for the lack of and incorrect information given to him should sound an alarm for the higher ups at Ferrari. It's one thing when it's been Seb who is already out the door. Charles is the guy Ferrari wants to build the next 10+ years around and he is very frustrated with this current management's handling of strategy calls and relay of information. The whole system/infrastructure isn't working right now.

I wish they didn't have the ability to just keep blaming the car. It's NOT just the car that stinks right now.

This is the last F1 race I'll see live this year as I cancelled my SkyF1 sub last month and it runs out next week. I'd like to end on a non Ham win and a podium for Ferrari but I think I have zero chance. lol

It's still a positive that we're within a tenth or two of cars with much stronger engines at a track with two straights longer than 1 km (1.3 + 1.1) and with a flat-out part up to near 300 kph in addition. That should mean we'd have a chance to capitalize next race when we actually go to a track with no straights longer than 900 metres and where corner speed is really important especially down to the hairpin at the lowest point. There's no reason we can't be on the second row on merit there considering we lose 0.5 seconds every long straight unless we trim off wings. In Germany, there's not much need to do such a thing.

Okay 66.6 only equals 90 races. Bottas won 8 with Merc. If Merc would have Rubenized Bottas who knows how many more Lewis would have won!

But with Rubens, you always knew he was a great driver because of the pole and the podiums he had with Jordan/Stewart/Honda and had a few classic wins to his name. Bottas has done nothing to come close to him except beating post accident and washed up Massa. Not one of his wins are really memorable except maybe Austria 2020.

We all talk about the aero ,the engine that needs changes ( they definently need ) but i thing that for sure needs changes is the pit wall staff that takes the calls for the strategies etc. It looks like they made another bad call in the 2nd exit on Q2. (Laurent Mekies, Ferrari's sporting director, admitted that in the future Leclerc will need better help in assessing the margin available before the checkered flag during a countdown)
Iņaki Rueda is the Chief Strategist since 2015 and i have lost counting how many bad calls he has made !!!!!!!! Maybe we sold think a change in this department !!!

Charles will only take so much then exit clause will kick in.Ferrari are under lots of pressure from both sides the diabolical car and a driver in charles that any team will take in the blink of an eye.Driving a ferrari just does not cut the mustard any more in f1 his DNA will not support fools.

If the 2022 car is not at least decent, it will be a disaster.

The contract till 2024 was signed while still assuming that Charles is an unknown quantity. I don't think the exit clause is favourable to him at all.

I don't think it was a bad call. Everyone was stacked and it was a gamble for everyone. Also, I dont feel we're particularly bad this year except probably 1-2 strategy mistake calls. Also, almost nobody is perfect. Mercedes - Pit call with closed pit entry / Redbull many strategy mistakes and wrong tires with Albon / RP many mistakes with both drivers / McLaren slow pitstops, especially with Sainz..

Also every team is considering driver's feedback about strategies just FOM decided to air Vettel - Ferrari way more than anybody else because of "drama".

PS: I hope that i didn't jinx it for this race

Very true ; down 6% ! But still at 90 wins. Taking a 10 second penalty and still making the podium might well be a record in itself. A few more penalties and it may cost him a race.

Would be hilarious if it does happen this season!
