Charles usually tunes up car more to quali than race, and our race pace is not so good?

Well the last time a team did a huge leap in power (Ferrari) everyone opened their eyes and started investigating, lets see how they will react now.
    Anyways great job by Charles.

I think Mercedes has issues with the tires. Degrading them really fast compared to RB.

    Certainly Bottas was yesterday.

For us though I really hope we can do something in race trim. Last year was disastrous and in general we've been poor in race trim for a few years.

Aero they were always there. Only engine was the issue & also their slow start to season after testing was an issue.
But this year it’s different, they have set up in advance both engine Dyno & chassis development at same place.

Car is working really well in the sector 2. Can't wait see what Lec can do with it at a proper track. Also big thumbs up to Carlos, he has pushed Charles thorughout the qualifying. Leclerc needed some one who can push him.

It all depends on how much the soft fall off within 10 laps. After that we get to the stage where we could just undercut Gasly by pitting in front of him and build up a gap on new mediums or hards. Also the McLarens, Alonso and Stroll are on softs. Pérez could be a threat but then again he really lacks track position and it's hard to overtake cars in a Red Bull considering they bolt on a lot of wing.

Ferrari needed 2 drivers who push!

The big thing is we are faster than all the midfield when the so called experts predicted us to be at the back of the midfield.

A big middle.finger to Ted kravitz and David Croft! Take that!

Don’t count off tyre pressure were made low this rice compared to last year & new Reg to floor added to that might have made RB stronger.

The car was really fine in long runs during testing and free practice sessions. Of course, we don't know what will happen tomorrow but everything up until now suggests that Ferrari has decent race pace. What I'm worried is about the soft tyres with which we're starting. That's only if there's no sandstorm or an early safety car.

Leclerc made me quite nervous by doing just one run in Q3.....but again, when it really matters he's there.

Good turnout by Ferrari at this track. I knew Charles was faster than Sainz.

It only took up until Q3 to get that thing into their thick heads, welp, guess it's better late than never.

It’s not a surprise for me. Because he did the same in 2018 with Alfa R that what got him Ferrari seat in 2019.

In 2019 & 2020 he showed the same. But there’s a catch here, he generally tunes his car for quali rather than Race. It was a issue for him in his previous years. Now we need to wait & see how it turns out tomorrow.

He says he's been working hard for his race pace so we have to hope that's he's learnt some things and that the car is also more forgiving in race trim.

he didnt have any tyres left...

carlos had a not very used tyre from q1 after his ussue

great job from all people in factory. i had veey low expectation on Q3, they passed Q2 was already an achievement compared it to last year ( although it was 11 - 12 on the grid, bu the gap was huge)
