I don't think I've ever seen Ferrari setting fastest time in the sector 3 in Spain until today, whether it's practice or qualifying. I don't believe Ferrari to be the 2nd fastest car, but Lec's sector 3 time again underlining how good the SF21 is in corners.

Few lap times are missing. Ex: Sainz pitted right at the end of FP2 and did one lap on mediums.

And Sochi. I remember during 2018-2019 we were always on par (or even faster) than the Mercs throughout the first 2 sectors, yet we lost about 4 or 5 tenth in the last sector alone lol

I said it myself . I'll wait for Q and the race to confirm it. This year we have very good Fridays but use to struggle later on especialy on the race pace. In Q we usually confirm our pace but only with a good lap from one of our drivers!!!

That's due to tyre wear. This weekend they apparently have a set up change on the rear suspension so maybe they can be best of the rest at the end of the race after the 2 fastest teams.

ONLY if we had another 15-20HP more in that donkey of the engine.....hopefully it will come next year before the FULL FREEZE comes into effect

yeah, it sounds totally stupid.....but hey, if HOnda was able to do it....Honda, common....then Ferrari with all its DEEP pockets can do it....and all this money invested to desigin a split turbo like Merc and Honda for another 4 years?????? as from 2025 the FIA suposedly wants to simplify these hybrid power units adn only have some sort of KERS (like in 2009) but more powerful and get rid of the MGUH....which the merc have pioneered it from the beginning.

Don’t forget that T11 or was it T10 that was modified this year , so it’s more of a mid speed corner compared to what it us3d to be, so maybe we’re gaining time there compared to in the past.....but yeah we’re looking more promising all in all in S3 regardless as to previous years....

Only if we had an extra 15-20 more ponies....oh well, next year I’m sure we’ll have a strong engine

Not sure we can say the improvement in S3 is car because they reprofiled T10 so may it no longer effects Ferrari's weaknesses as much? Not sure.

Actually we lost most time in chicane, not T10.

I try to see how I feel about Merc.
My gut feeling is that Toto laugh out loud. They played the whole field again, They have the right people and the right tools to build fast cars. They only problem is how to tune them. Sometimes they get it right from the very beginning, some others they need some more time.

As for us, I hold my horses. Based on the previous 3 races.I would be very happy with a 5th and 6th on the grid, but I cannot see that. So, 6-7 is the best I hope for.

Stop Ferrari engine????? We had a bad engine last year, what you talking about??
If yiu mean 2019 engine, then yes, they stopped us because we cheated....or more politically correct, we use grey areas, pushed the envelope too much and Merc and red bull did not like the idea....

Let’s hope next year Ferrari builds a beast of an engine before the full freeze

Does anyone else notice how little air time the Ferraris get? I barely saw Leclerc and he did that amazing lap.
