I think F1-75 sounds cool. The naming is fighter jet esque and sound better than Ferrari F-twenty twenty two.
You're saying that F1-75 sounds more like a fighter than F22... which is an actual fighter lol

Well yeah...they are not going to name it F22, for obvious reasons.

F1-75 has a nice ring in it. Easy to pronounce while also highlighting Ferrari's 75 years of success.

Don't wish to dwell on it but Ferrari haven't really had 75 years of success, some years were absolutely not successful! F1-75 is OK and to celebrate those 75 years the car had better be a winner, but SF22 would have been more logical and easier for the casual fan to identify with. None of us are casual fans, though, and we have high expectations!

Does anyone have any guesses as to what the team gear will look like this year?

We all are Ferrari fans and we all know Ferrari is not using any conventional naming system, but instead use every oportunity to make the car name special. It's our way of doing things and I am glad for it. But all in all the name isn't what will decide if we will or will not be winning races... that would be the car itself. So even if it's called Ferrari F-turd, it still can be the fastest thing ever built and I... and all of you will love it anyways :)

for what is worth, Last time F1 was used, they went to dominate after F1-2000.

common Ferrari, build a beast, return to winning days and dominate.....please!!!
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Might want to count again and not just google how many WCC Ferrari have won...

hint, 4 x WDC won before WCC was even a thing for a starter.

The WDC title for drivers was started in 1950.

The WCC title for constructors was started in 1958. So, officially his "google search" (as you put it) is correct with 16 official WCC titles. Ferrari won 4 prior to 1958......so did Alfa Romeo with 2 and Mercedes wiith 3 I believe....but no body to include the history books OFFICIALLY counts any constructors wins before 1958 regarding said teams.

I remember after the F1-2000, Ferrari had to drop the '1' in the name for subsequent cars because they weren't allowed to use 'F1' in the car title due to merchandising rights etc, so the next car was the F2001.

Interesting to see 'F1' being used in the car title again.

Why, oh WHY, do some of you have the integral need to just find something to complain about?
Now, it just has to be the name.
When the car is unveiled, it will be...
    ... the color
    ... the way it looks
... the way it should look
    etc etc ...

If the guys at the factory and the team overall did a good job, the car will be great. It won't matter if the car 's name is "F1-75" or "I suck".

The way I see it, 75 years of perseverence are 75 years of success.

Yes you're right on a positive level, I have spent 50 of those years pretending that Ferrari was the best team ever to anyone who's interested, but even I have to admit to being wrong more often than right! You make a valid point and we should be proud of Ferrari's achievements, being there for so long, whatever the results say! I won't complain about the F1-75 or whatever it ends up being called, unless it fails to deliver!

Binotto says the new car is the result of years of work, well.
We want to see now a return on investment of the last 3 years sacrificed for this project (on the engeneering side)
We had to accept so bad cars, enough mediocrity, show us your hands now Mr Binotto!
We want a competitive car for our drivers!

Yeah, enough moaning about the colours, name, sponsors. If the car is fast, everything looks cool

    This!

AFAIK Ferrari is the only manufacturer in F1/ GP racing to have always built the entire car - chassis, engine and gearbox - in house. Quite something to be proud of, even if we've had more crappy years than great ones..

    LOL

Ferrari have won 16 WCC correct well done, but they have also won WDC without winning the WCC and vice versa, so saying 16 years of success is not entirely correct. I don't need a history lesson from you either

And so many things that people fail to consider.
    Within those 75 years Ferrari did not have the resources , experience, had to fight far richer teams;

And yet , they persevered, they are still the one and only team to always compete.

We -are- the pillar of this sport and for that fact alone, this is success.

    Never forget this.
