The only thing that could save the day is the illegal #44 breaking down but that seems as likely as finding a needle in a haystack.

I'm amazed about how slow we are. In both tires, we are the 7th!!!! team on pace !!! This is something that never happened this year !!!! And supposedly in Friday FP2s race pace we where 3d best ,with 0,5 s /lap faster then McL . WHERE did this pace gone????!!!!!

Lewis laps LeClerc on lap 39 on a 57 lap race.

It was idiotic to not give Charles a fifth PU so at least the final two races could be a little more pleasant. That being said, for some reason this car can't drive through fast corners and it's hard to say why considering its excellent pace in Monaco. Admittedly that's more mechanical grip but still Massenet and Tabac are high-speed corners there.

Stopped watching this race... it has become terrible to see Ferrari in this position.
    Leclerc already being lapped...

At least the VSC may well gift us a surprising 10-2 over McLaren. Silver linings and all that.

I have no idea how we finished in front of McLaren. 1-2 more laps we could get both Stroll & Ocon.

Also Leclerc now just one point off Norris in spite of a horrible weekend. Sainz also within range (7.5 points)

Maybe we're that slow because we were nursing the tyres all the time (1 stop) ?
Also what the hell are those kerbs...

What a strange weekend for us. All of a sudden we're the 5th/6th fastest car and whose we were nowhere near us were much faster. Although the pace on hards was hot, especially Charles, closed up a 7.8 seconds deficit between him and Carlos.

Alonso without doubt the DOTD. The guy is over 40 and he's still performing like the vintage Alonso. Goes to show that he was always the best of his generation.

Fernando in a Mercedes from 2014 onwards would've been a 9x WDC and everyone knows it.

Had Ferrari provided Alonso with the second fastest car, he would've smoked Vettel.

It's a travesty that a guy like Alonso has only one more WDC than Raikkonen, and 2 less than Vettel.

The McLaren race ought to be over - with zero Ferrari points in the final two races, not even 5th and 6th in both would do it for them. Considering the average Ferrari points yield is 14.74 points over the season even a double-zero appears extremely unlikely.

True, but Alonso burned that bridge a long time ago.
