Hope Verstappen does not receive any penalties or this championship will be over.

Even without the handing over of positions, don't think his tyres would have lasted anyway.

Considering Ferrari are not in contention at the moment, I'm 100% supporting Verstappen and Red Bull.

I mean slowing down cars behind him.

The 'brake test' situation was a race incident if Hamilton/Vettel in Baku (the first hit) was.

Therefore under the precedent that Hamilton was not punished that time it should be the same now. I'd suggest Verstappen held a much more even speed in that situation, however.

Still, Max didn't do himself any favours today, looked clumsy and desperate and Mercedes were just whining and doing SC procedure violations without consequences as well. Hamilton gets that 5 second penalty and it's a completely different race.

Merc were lapping 1 second faster per lap while running dirty air, no way Max could have held on, I am sure Lewis could ask for even more power if needed as well!

Verstappen is desperate, the Red Bull has not been as fast as the Mercedes the past few races.

Lewis onboard is clear, he downshifted and didn’t pass. Verstappen slowed, but didn’t break. More FIA to give ham help if Verstappen gets a penalty.

I believe outcome will be a reprimand & by also telling him to follow safety rules rather than dangerous driving.

Whatever it is… This is one of best race I’ve seen for this season. Considering championship on the line.

It was full of twists & turns, drama. Everything it got.

    There’s a difference here… out of deliberation/desperation & situation unawareness.
Later goes to Lewis & former applies to Max. It’s just my view. I might be right or wrong.

Max slowed down In middle part of track & Lewis might have thought it’s a yellow flag.

I feel the same, without Max it would have been another boring season.
Let's hope Ferrari returns to winning ways after the next race.

But Lewis "brake checked" Seb at Baku........Lewis did'nt get all the flak from that incident. Seb got flak for running into Lewis and then bumping his car next to Lewis and for that Seb got a penalty (for the bump).

I hope they both get black-flagged retroactively for putting the sport into disrepute

It is indeed irrelevant, but you were the one who compared it to passenger cars......

The incident with Max and Leiwis "brake checking" is relevant to passenger cqrs.

The insurance scam is not relevant to F1.

Yes I know where you are coming from. But Mercs/ham proved via telemetry they didn’t brake test.
    Here the case is different.

Anyways Ham was also called to investigation. Let’s see the outcome

Maybe in your country. Here in the states, IF you rear end the person in front, it's your fault for rear ending the person in front. It is indeed relevant.

    Lewis was a fault.
