He already has the car, but hasn't been able to match Charles' speed so far (5 races is already a lot)

Charles was comfortable playing # 2 driver to Seb ? Charles is Carlos ' idol. It's too soon to say who's #1 @ Ferrari. Max is evenly matched by either of our drivers.

According to information gathered by Motorsport.com, the development budget is 10 million dollars and Red Bull has already spent two thirds of it.

Mercedes would have already come further, so the package that they'll bring to Barcelona could be the last of the substantial ones.

Noone gave a free pass to Charles when he came to Ferrari, he had to punch his way into #1, and good for him. If Carlos can handle the pressure of driving a worthy car and Ferrari hunting for 2 titles (which is what the team is doing right now), good for him, then he is free to do so. If not, the team will relegate him to #2 because whether he (and you) like it or not, the team is #1. And that has been the case since the 50s. He knew what he was signing for and that is why , btw Elkaan was why he was at Miami.

The team has been bleeding for 2022, noone is over the team.

Do you have any indication that Carlos has been given a difference car (to the worse) than Charles?
I don't.
As for Mick, I don't think that Carlos perceived him as a thread and let's be honest here, he's nowhere close to be a Ferrari driver as of now. Maybe in two years time.

I believed the name Schumacher was preceived as a treat to Carlos . Now as you say Mick's nowhere close to being moved to Ferrari. The threat was Binotto. Carlos can drive in peace . Ferrari needs to continue to give Charles and Carlos equal cars to get those much needed points. No 1, 2 yet! On another note; both drivers seem to really get along well. WCC means as much as WDC so far!!

I think Carlos had every opportunity that Charles had and I doubt they are not driving equal cars ... also if I recall, Carlos was given the upgraded PU first wasn't he? Is this going to be Rubens 2.0 Brembo?

Charles is already Charles, no need to become a Schumi 2.0.
The only laps where Carlos was able to match Charles were those behind the safety car...
Carlos says he wants to win in Spain? I wish him.
But if Charles dominates him again, he will have to work on his pride. Is he able? Nothing predicts it so far

Well so far Ferrari hasn't had to make any strong decisions regarding drivers. The drivers themselves have more or less put themselves into their roles with their performances. Season is still pretty young so things could change, but right now it looks like Charles has a head of steam and Carlos needs to pick up his pace and get right behind him.

I know Carlos is quick and pretty intelligent.
But, I really hope takes a step back and calms down. He's too hard on himself, which eventually leads to costly mistakes for both himself and the team.

I hope he doesn't turn out to be a Rosberg.

Sainz was every bit as quick as Crashtappen when they were in Torro Rosso. Yes, i still believe this is the case, and I think Leclerc is a step above both. I think Leclerc is on par with Alonso.

And I don't believe that drivers improve once they get to F1, I give you 1 season, 2 max, and that's for learning some race craft, some setup secrets. But your raw speed will not improve when you reach F1.
