Well so far Red Bull looks faster than us. Verstappen would actually be about .5s quicker if he didn't mess up. God I hope we are holding back since it's just practice. I wanna see Red Bull cry again this weekend.

2nd sector is losing us a little bit of time. Could be downforce it the engine down a bit.

we seem to lose quite a bit in the high speed corners to the BULLS

We definitely have a good few laps in the tank. Crucially, we're faster in the tyre-eating S1 no matter how you slice it. So long as we're safely clear of Pérez with the primary car on lap one tomorrow I'm very confident about our chances in a one vs one on Verstappen tomorrow.

David Sanchez said that Ferrari will bring a new floor that will completely solve the bouncing problem. The fact that we're bouncing and still doing great lap times should be ominous to Red Bull.

Hopefully the first major upgrades will come in the next race.

Till now it looks like the Bulls might be half step faster then us here. They can cary more speed and they are faster on the straights!!!!

Nope. His mistake was after S2 time. He was carrying too much speed at that corner. He was .3ths up in S2.

But looking at Bottas time, I feel Lec does have some more pace underneath. Sainz is really struggling, somehow he needs to be up there else Perez will squeeze in between.

Max surely can go around 1.28...but we could go too.It seems that there is more time to gain for both.
Red Bull looks faster but seeing Bottas so fast...i really don t know.We ll see in quali.
Mercs has a lot of work to do.

This is the kind of circuit where all that matters is the front row, because if we have the pace we'll leapfrog Verstappen one way or the other tomorrow or vice versa. Since our car is set up with a lot of wing to navigate S1, that should really pay dividends towards the end of the stints. For once, I believe we're better in race trim than one-lap speed this year.
