Sainz for the win? He is the only one out of the top 4 with new softs for the start.

Maybe he can use it at the end of the race if there is a safety car. Anyway Pirelli said softs are a bad choice for this race. Also, like Verstapen, he said than in Q3, used softs were working better than new ones, so i'm not sure he is very confident with new softs

This grid is wrong. Ricciardo moves back 3 grid spots due to a penalty on Ocon.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Yes, but Leclerc said that to his surprise softs performed better if they have been used for a few laps. And Leclerc and Verstappen both have these tires.

I stand corrected. The grid is correct with regards to Ricciardo. Sorry.

Our drivers have done well and should take this race or garner quite a few valuable points. I HATE this circuit and hope they stay safe during the race and that F1 NEVER returns there unless MAJOR changes are made. The race is run in twilight/dark and the CONSTRICTED and CONFINED fencing/barriers shuts out ANY VIEW AT ALL that it's run along a desert coastline so who cares because you can't see ****** anyway. NO MAJOR RISKS BY OUR DRIVERS PLEASE!!! FORZA FERRARI!!!

Maybe for the rest of the season? Without the best car he's looking pretty morose and pathetic lately and a pit lane start could bring some benefit to his team if he can pass anybody that starts ahead of him, wah wah.

I really hope for another 1-2 race for our boys today, and clear start first. Ferrari looked good last week with tires. I think that could be they advantage also today. I dont't think Perez has rocket starts usually, but I prefer cold heads for first laps and overtake later than puting all for one card on first turns and count on luck. We have pure pace. We can win it and we will. Forza Ferrari.
And Hamilton...? who cares. Only important thing is to have him behind our drivers :)

Hopefully nothing that can't be fixed

Could do without any last-minute dramas for our drivers, so hope the fix on Carlos' car is good. Praying for a safe and clean race for our boys, dare not say anything other than good luck!

The pre-race issue with the Ferrari of @Carlossainz55 was a wiring loom. Now fixed.

Tsunoda has lost the engine power on his lap out from pits to the grid. Seems like these RB power trains have many teething issues.

Heard he packed up and went home. Without a wingman and without a fast car, he is showing his true colours lol.
