Oh latiffi is a red flag specialist.Should not be in f1 like stroll, way out of there depth.Stroll senior has way to much control over the team, they will struggle all year big time.Australia has a great F2 champion known as Oscar Pistari this kid is a serious driver and and f1 seat awaits.

Just a though occured to me... Couldn't it be, that we were running lower top speed as we suffer from porpoising in high 300s? And now we tried to counter RedBull on the top speed and that's why our cars are like kangaroos? It makes sense to me. I hope it's worth it if that's the case...

Ferrari is running more downforce that's they are suffering from porpoising. But the aero is so good that it's not causing too much problem. Red Bull is running lower DF rear wing cause that's the only way they can keep up with the Ferrari.

    More downforce = more porpoising.

I don't think that equation is necessarily correct. That way Mercedes would have the most DF out of all the teams. But I am no expert so I won't argue. It just seems to me, that we gave up our S3 for more top speed in quali. Our S3 is not overpowered as it was in practice, actually RedBull was stronger than us there in Q1. Well, let's see.

The equation is correct. More downforce will cause more porpoising. A high DF RW will cause more porpoising than a low DF RW. Also Ferrari haven't introduced any upgrades to the car yet, unlike the Red Bull.

Ain't porpoising basically that the floor can't handle the suckage and it stalls itself? So the downforce amount which is causing that to happen goes hand in hand with how capable the floor is? Nevertheless let's focus on Q2 now.

Our S3 is gone. We surelly messed up something. This is not the car we saw in practices. And the bouncing is 100% slowing us down as well.

This is what is worrying...Redfools have either made a massive step-up overnight or they were massively sandbagging.

Sainz was just fastest in S2. I still stand behind my theory that we lowered the DF after FP2 to compensate for the top speed deficit. So we gained in S2 (and porpoising) and lost in S1 and S3.

Seems like we don’t have a chance of pole. Hmmm
Ferrari needs to address that bouncing issue ASAP. Drivers will struggle with that during race.

Nothing between redbull and ferrari a fast tough track will punish you big time with the slightest error.Possible penalty for perez yellow flag issue, also versappen getting looked at for impeding in Q1.All will be investigated after Q3.

I just hope the sacrifice we made in S3 pays off finally....it hasn't till now. Our drivers like it pointy and sharp in S3/S1.

Perez didn't slow at all under the yellow flag.
