2001-2002. Either one. A dejavu long overdue

Now looking at CL pace, to start on hards was a mistake. That car has pace and he would easy made places with soft

Still Hards was the way to go i think...see Alonso. We can't account for SC/VSC. Overtaking was not that easy also even with DRS. And seeing last 2 races...Sainz is no LEC in racepace. Sainz just botched it up. Could have waited for 2 laps for DRS.

It reminds me more of 2007-2008 than anything, just that we had a driver disadvantage compared to McLaren those years that cost us. Except for Kimi's brilliant last few months of 2007 that is.

Agreed, he just was too desperate to make up places.

Agree. At least he made a team a favor in choosing this early in the season who is No1 and who is No2

    2002 and 2004.
I really enjoyed this race. Start to finish.
Only black spot was the poor performance by Carlos who needs to reflect upon his qualifying and race performance.
I am sure Binotto will have a little chat with him.

My thoughts exactly. There is no excuse from now on and the plain is clear.

Correct. But it was this ‘built up feeling’. I didn’t have any worry in the start of 2004. Hope it’s 2004 forever haha

After deep analysis, the root cause of F1-75 porpoising is found: nothing to do with floor or suspension, it's only caused by pilot jumping from happiness when driving the F1-75 :)

The traction and breaking stability of the F1-75 is pretty much reminding me of 2010-2013 EBD era cars. Unreal.

Carlos Sainz Jr (post-race): We had another issue in the race. The issue was with the steering wheel & that's why I went backwards and then I was on the hard. I hit anti-stall two times after the start. Conclusion is that we need to be 100% - team & myself to get the results.

fun fact: Charles has actually started this season better than MS started 2002.

    P1,P2,P1

    MS in 2002: P1,P3,P1

Saw that. Sainz had to change steering wheels and he hit anit-stall 2x off the start on hard tires. Bad luck for him all the way around.

1, 2 in Imola will ease his pain.
