WDC is very nice, but it is Ferrari who needs to be champion. WCC is what it's all about.
You can run like the wind, but you'll never outrun the Prancing Horse

It's not Honda it's Newey...that RB is super slippery car especially when the DRS opens.

The fact that Russell was fastest despite being 12kmh down on Perez's red bull is concerning.

WDC is everything for sure .A clear 1 & 2 driver is where it's at. Look at Shumy @ Merc! 1 podium in 3 seasons.

I'd take the WDC over WCC ten times over. Sorry if it offends anyone.

I genuinely doubt you lot who say this were wildly celebrating in 1999 and 2008 when Irvine and Massa fell short in those agonizing manners.

WCC over WDC any day of the week for me....

WCC shows how strong the team is......so its first and foremost for me

Wdc is nice too.....but but I root for the team first as always.....drivers come and go and only the best ones get remembered the most

WDC and WCC are both equally important but people value WDC way more than WCC. Driver's championship is always the main draw over constructor's championship. I'd say nearly 99% of F1 viewership cares about Driver vs Driver over Constructor vs Constructor.

That's why many Ferrari fans consider 2008 to be painful even when Ferrari won the WCC, myself included. Same way, Red Bull-Max is the net winner of last year's championship even if Mercedes won the WCC.

For me, WDC is the main title. So if Charles wins the WDC but Ferrari fails to win the WCC, I wouldn't be upset.

    Indeed.

Ferrari raises the flag at Maranello when a Ferrari driver wins the race. They don't raise the flag and churches don't ring the bells when Ferrari drivers score P2 and P3 in a race.

Agreed. A WCC without the WDC feels a bit like a defeat. It suggests the car was capable, but the driver didn't deliver.

Watches have been added to the jewelry ban. Drivers can face up to a $265,000 fine.

Note: Lewis has had a 2 race exemption from the FIA to remove all his jewelry from his facial area. #entitledSirLewis #TheBlessedOne.

I used to go into quali day wondering if a Ferrari has a shot at pole position. Now I am thinking will either of the Ferrari drivers put it in the wall.

Its quite odd that while yesterday we saw from the laps of mini race sim the drivers did in the end of FP2 ,that Lec was about 3-4 tenths /lap faster then Perez, now AMuS and motorsport say that Parez was 0.01/lap faster ??????? And in FP2 Lec reached 334 and Perez 336 and still they say that we are 10 km/h slower on straights. And for all this they claim that RBR is the favorite ????
    FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!

Of course! He’s only had 2 months to remove that crap from face, but we have to hear how oppressed he is. There’s people in the world with real struggles. The FIA telling him to stop wearing jewelry is not a struggle. Then you have these people “well they wore blood type metal bracelets in the 70s blah blah” That’s cause it was the freaking 70s! They had unpredictable bombs for engines.

    Red flag Ocon crashes.

It's all well and good shortening the practice sessions but how are teams supposed to work when the red flag comes out every 5 minutes!?

Top speed is down. Below 320 today. Ferrari really not pushing the engine, yet.

They all are. Can't get the tyres in the window by the looks of things

Though we are still a second up on Mercedes despite that
