The way I look at it rb spunked a decent amount of budget and are only maybe a tenth or two faster in race trim (and part of that may be max driving really well as perez is nowhere near him) Still 18 races to go we will be in the battle until the end.
Finally some common sense. Thank you

I have been on this forum for about 20 years, just too much doom and gloom… it’s race 5

Red Bull just have a more efficient car right now, able to run less downforce but still be competitive in the cornering and have good tyre deg.

What's important here is to limit the damage and that would be a 7/8 point loss today but still keeps Charles top. What we can't do is push beyond the limits like Charles did in Imola and throw away even more points

Yeah if this same scene plays out in Barcelona, close the curtain on this era. Merc will start catching us once they figure out that car. Sigh…

We need top speed on this car. That’s wt missing & making it easy for RB.

Before start of the race everyone said RB-Max will make it easy at the straights & it was easy.

The thing is... that doom and gloom was always right in the end. It has grown root into us Ferrari fans and we are now prone to always worry when we see our team begining to lose ground on competition.

If true it’s a lottery. Could hurt Ferrari just as likely as helping them.

That was a fun fact from Sky.

No driver has ever held a 40point lead and lost the championship EXCEPT Fernando in 2012.

Who was he racing for that year? Oh yeah.

THATS WHY THE DOOM AND GLOOM!

We have seen it way too many times before.

Maybe a SC can mix things up when it rains...

Only MV and CL are driving similar times and away from their teammates and the rest.

2012 was not really Ferrari's fault, we can blame it on Grosjean and Kimi taking Alonso out...

Come on man, they started handing out points like Brandon is printing money only after 2010

By the same token, Hamilton lost the championship in 2007 with a 42-point lead over Kimi with two races to go. Basically what happened.

The number 2's have no answer to the pace of Number 1's. Max and Charles are just blindingly faster than their teammates.
