Some forecasts saying rain unlikely until after the race, hope it's accurate, we don't need added drama with a front-row lockout. Wishing them both luck, especially Charles, Monaco owes him some luck. Forza Ferrari.

Verstappen sweating bullets for rain that could potentially cause ferrari errors that will likely be his only chance.Perez pay back time check does not like being a butler that ended with botas.

Looks like the rain threat has gone now, Perez will be told to move over ASAP.

If there's ever a time for Lando Norris to have a flier off the line from the clean inside, today is it!

For our guys, I'm a bit concerned about the start regardless of the short run. Charles has had several sub-standard starts in a row even though he's largely held position and Carlos has lost positions four races in a row. They have to find a way to cover Pérez off or the strategy is in big trouble. If we get into clean air with a 1-2, Charles can just save his tyres and keep the Red Bulls within the pit window of everyone else until fuel loads have gone down a bit and he can push a few laps before fitting the mediums. If it's any worse than that, it sort of falls out of the window to do just that.

As a precaution, Ferrari replaced the entire rear axle, gearbox included (but in the pool) - Sainz

Carlos Sainz need a good start, in general he’s good at starts. Off late it’s been horrible for him.
Need to hold his position at any cost

Damage to the Perez RB yesterday estimated to be $750k; Sainz Ferrari damage = $500k - significant dents in the (capped) budgets of both teams. About equal to one aero update, you might say.

I hope Charles can keep his pole and Sainz stays in P2.

Then CL cap open up a gap and hopefully not to many SC's.

Doesn’t that mean a grid penalty? Doesn’t the gearbox have to last 5 consecutive races? Is that not a thing anymore?

This year rules changed. Can pick up from the pool of 4.

Anything beyond that is a penalty.

It’s the same for everyone. It’s will be chaos.

If Charles & Sainz can hold their position with wet tires. Then it’s all down to pit stop/ change of tyres to slicks. This will be the key
