So Ferrari is losing engines left and right. We're just going to keep using spec 1 engine, because spec 2 is a bust.

Look were Ferrari in 2020 and were it is now. I think Maria was right, we are not contenders YET, and this is a year to take a leap and take some risks. But nothing is lost yet. Looking at some comments, you're the amateurs, not those on the pitwall and at Maranello.
You are either not Tiffosi or you are new. We are passionate bunch and seeing our team year after year fail and fail, then sacrifice several years just to fail again. That's not normal. Sorry. I will not accept we are this useless with just "oh well".

Bets on how long will it take to Mick's and Valtteri's engines go boom?

Let LEC finish the season capturing all ole position then retire the races atleast it's a record that is hard to break many pole in a season.

Apparently the Ferrari engine was designed to get pole and little else.

    Well done, schmucks.

    It's unacceptable.

The engine department was clearly not ready for these higher mappings.

This is what happens when you run your engine to the max and pansy out of chassis updates. Ferrari thought they could hold off Red Bull by running the engine harder and holding updates, and they were so, so wrong.

Binnoto worrying more about the budget was the tell the team had no answers to Red Bull.

Max wins today (most likely) and is equal with Lauda and Clark.

If Leclerc and this team doesn't start at least winning lots of races very soon, I'm looking at Hamilton's seat at Mercedes.

At least that team learns from mistakes.

Because of Lec. Sainz would not even get 1 pole this season.

RB had mech issues at the start of the season. They fixed it, but can WE fix it? What i still can't fathom are the routinely slow pitstops, sometimes it doesn't matter that much but it will screw us over soon or later. slow pits + bad strategy calls + random reliability is way too much to be a championship contender even with the best driver on the grid.

Yea, we were all laughing at Mercedes this year but they actually doing great compared to us in our difficult years. When we fought for WDC in 2008, we were nowhere in 2009. In 2014 we were totally gone, almost in Formula GP2. Mercedes fought for the WDC till the last race and it did cost them, but they are still 3rd in WCC and soon can be 2nd. It's us we should be laughing at.

With this kind of reliability and strategy we don't need competition, we'll lose the championships on our own.

That's what we call a "red-neck" solution. 101 uses for duct tape.

Yes what a disaster we need to focus on our engine program as we had 4 cars out today with engine problems! We need to put our money we have left into the engine and focuse reliability for next year already. This is truly a sad statement to be made early in the e season.

Without losing the championship, the championship is actually Lost. Binnoto apparently said after Monaco that the goal is not to fight for the title this year but to be competitive. In fact, I now believe him to be serious mainly because of the powertrain issues.
