Yeah, it's not. It used to be, but someone (I don't remember who it was) abused the system and stacked engine parts so FIA made a rule, that only the latest new parts used during a weekend will be taken as used. Or that's how I heard it.

It is obvious to everyone (except you of course) that it will be more difficult to get the pole without Charles

I think Charles will do one lap just to get within 107 % and park it.

This car is supposed to be a tank in proper wet conditions, so hopefully Carlos can put it on pole.

I don't remember the last time the 107% rule was enforced. They could probably point to his practice times to show he'll be fast enough.

I wish Carlos would take the pole and have friendly words for Charles because he’s unlucky not to participate
I wouldn’t want Carlos not to take pole and especially to say, without a word for Charles, that he made the most of the car as he always said last year when he got a better result even though Charles was unlucky

    Fat chance.

Sainz simply struggles with the car right now. He's talented as hell, but the car is a struggle for him. It will take him time.

We might have reasons to bring Charles out for a late run if Pérez still runs this slowly.
