Apparently, Ferrari is studying Leclerc's engine (on Wednesday).

It's probably going to be a while until Ferrari comes out with a fix.

This track was always suited well for Ferrari. Hope this is the place we bounce back!

Despite the fails/DNFs, l also have some doubts about our race pace .In Baku we didn't havethe competetitiveness of Spain . RedBull looked to be a bit faster . So it's not only to finish but we MUST win and not only once!!!!
Right now this looks pretty difficult!!!!

Redbull already have an advantage over us on power hungry tracks, that is why they were better in baku, and after our reliability issues I'm expecting Ferrari to de-tune the engine to preserve it.
I'm not getting my hopes high for this race honestly.
    Anyways Forza Ferrari.

Same here. Leclercs broken engine is at Maranello already. Ferrari is taking it apart to see what the problem was. Until then, Ferrari will be on conservative mode.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Baku was encouraging because we clawed to within 5mph of the Fizzy Drink cars. Question is how much of that was spicy engine, how much of that was improved rear wing. And will we still have the same horsepower.

But in Baku we made straight line improvements and Maxipad could no longer overtake.

i surely hope so.....but after the back to back disappointments i'm not having a WARM AND FUZZY FEELING about this weekend.

i was so pumped at the beginning of the year when Ferrari has started the season doing so well, i couldn't wait for teh Montreal race to come fast enough....but now i'm like, whatever....i'm still gonna enjoy the time in Montreal as it's a FANTASTIC CITY....but as far as Ferrari performance.....i'm expecting the worst and hoping for the GOOD, BETTER or "best"

    AS ALWAYS, FORZA FERRARI!!!!

Anyone taking bets on which lap Leclerc's engine will go boom from the lead this week?

Not exactly up for this one.

Somehow I don't care about this week's race.

NO, Ferrari needs to stop the bleeding. They need to get the win or more point than Red Bull. I hope this ICE failure was just a one off or some kind of problem due to the constant bouncing or a supplier part defect. This superfast engine spent who knows the amount of hours on the test bench I have a hard time to believe it's a conceptual problem. The PU1 was fine and Ferrari is going to find a solution but it's going to cost penalty position.

That's why we need Sainz to step up and start earning his salary. He needs to finish ahead of the Red Bull if Leclerc gets penalties or at least make Verstappen work for his wins to help Leclerc catch up.

I won't go that far saying I don't care, but the wind has been taken out of our sails over the past 3 races and we tifosi are frustrated and angry. But being a real tifoso means we should be used to this scenario, and it's in my blood so I'm hanging on in there!

It hurts my ears when people pronounce the second "c" in Leclerc... it's not supposed to be pronounced...

Ferrari is using fuel to cool the chamber post ignition and since Baku is a track where they use a lot fuel to go the distance.

They were running too lean in the post injection phase so it overheated one the valves failed taking the turbo with it.

If you do not care about this week's race for what ever reasons or its just to much as a jilted fan, then ban your self from the forum for 2 weeks. They say that silence is golden.

Excessive heat is causing the valves to disintegrate into the turbo through the exhaust?

best thing about that is it explains Spain AND Baku.
