We had no mediums left to give him though.

I have the feeling, lower dnf set up ,doesn't suit our car!!! The body/bottom doesn't produce the same amount of dnf as RedBull. So we might gain some speed but we loose traction. Today Carlos with greater dnf set up was faster then Lec. I know they run different race (CD in front, Lec from behind) and with different strategy, but the overall picture was this. Lec was not fast enough through medium-slow corners.
The only bet we have now is Sylverstone upgrades . If we gain performance compere to RedBull updates, them we might have a chance. If not ,bye bye !!!

We need 1DNF from Max & couple of 1-2 finish from Ferrari. Then only championship will be back.

It looks pretty much comfortable for Max … when leclerc is not around.

Silverstone is Charles' best track and it's downforce central.

Only 5 drivers had 2 sets of mediums, 1 of them was Charles. Do try harder to attack the team though....

These kind of comments on here are disgusting and tyring. Can you all get over Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes already?

Leclerc was in traffic most of the race. Passing others. Hence you didn’t get real pace of his car.

For me positive thing was Tyre management from Leclerc on Hards was good.

Lec was having 2M tyres available. There were 2 VSC & 1SC. Ferrari didn’t utilise good opportunities in case of Leclerc.

But when Perez was put we didn’t have two cars of podium.

I think getting stuck behind Ocon lost a good opportunity.

Also our pit stops …. They don’t get it right at crucial moment
It wouldn't have mattered. Leclerc was not going to get by Hamilton and Russel without risking it in the wall. Settling for 5th was the right call.

The only good thing is that Carlos had same /better pace then Max ,in a track that Max looked to be on the top of his game. I would bet that he would pull away like 0,5 s/lap. So Watching Carlos catch up and taking the fastest lap on same tires on pure pace, was good !!!!!

Nope. Getting struck behind Ocon costed leclerc potential P3. We would have passed Ham & Rus in S3 if leclerc was in clean air. Added to that pit stop error 5.3 sec….. mean 2sec loss.

He’s 2.8Sec behind Rus in the final result. So there are lot of probabilities.

Our pit wall & Crew is still not good. Hope it gets better.

Gained two points on Mercedes and four on RBR.

in this race nothing were on the hand for lecler... wrong timing of first two VSC, then stuck behin ocon, after that error in box...this error costs charles oportunity to fight hamilton for the podium...and SC timing was wrong for charles...
good race for both of our drivers, and errors from the team again

it is time for RB to make a mistake

Honestly don’t feel Carlos made mistakes today. He pushed Max as far as he could. I just think the combination of Carlos + Ferrari wast enough to beat Max+RedBull today.

He tried. I have to give him credit for that.

Hopefully the upcoming upgrades are substantial. We need a big step forward in Silverstone.

We can. The point is Sky can’t.

I don’t think there will be much to clean up tho. The sky crew looks like they swallow. Hahahahahhahaah

The way to judge tyre management is to compare with other drivers. I don't recall anyone destroying their hard tyres so there's no basis to say CL managed them well. Everyone including CL complained about lack of grip on the hards.

And CL will probably have to take 2 more engine, so 2 more races starting from last, and thats the best case scenario

Carlos had fresher tyres and DRS.

Only 5 laps younger tho, and with couple laps under SC the advantage between them was not that big enough
When Max pitted the first time with new Hard he wasn't gaining that much on Sainz running on old medium. So I don't think we're slower here. When both of cars have nearly the same pace, it's very hard to overtake without big advantage in top speed and traction (which we lacked today)
