Charles did 1:11.2 on a later flier in Q1 so the pace should be there when they go all-out to dip into the mid 1:10's. Doubt that's enough but I feel there's some more to get out of both cars now that the midfield cars are literally out of the way.
This kid, this kid … amazing lap
Charles is something else. Shame how Ferrari failed him.
leclerc is another level when it comes to qualifying
Cmon charles!! I really hope that our race pace is upto it, dont wanna see another potential pole or front row start thrown away by Sunday misery.
Ok
Almost there, that second sector
Damn it!
If we look this year better 2 than pol …
A Verstappen fan holding a sign that says “FERRARI STRATEGY” tells you everything you need to know
its better than pole, anyway we slap him tomorrow
I think little mistake sector 2 leclerk
But all in all, I am satisfied!
Race is tomorrow! Let's get him!
Perez was nowhere again. Hope our racepace will be good as it was in FP2
Like I said in the beginning of this thread. Charles needs to send it into Turn1. Let if fly Charles, nothing to lose. If you punt Max out of the race, so what. Hamilton did it and still won.
I think there was a tiny mistake from Leclerc in S2. Else he would have been on pole.
Anyways closer than I expected. But I’m worried about Monza (our home race). Don’t want to see Max getting pole & race win over there.
Yeah Charles made a mistake in S2 but in general a really good job from both Charles and Carlos. It's all a little bit redundant anyway as we have some of the worst tyre deg on the grid.
Controlling Tyre Deg one of our biggest issue since long time.
2018 -> 2nd half tyre deg was horrible
2019 -> it’s a one Lap quali car, in the race tyre deg was high
2020 & 2021 -> don’t want to discuss
Now 2022. We need to focus on race pace. That’s where Max is killing us & now Mercs too.
Steller effort from both Charles and Max. Tomorrow it will be a duel between this two. I know Charles doesn't care about P2 in the WDC standings, but at the end of the day he should be the runner up. He deserves it for his valiant effort this year.
How have your race runs been, guys?
