So, is this track gonna suit our cars? And by that I mean, can we fight for a win here, or is it gonna be a walk in the park for red fools?

tire stress is rated 5/5 and asphalt abrasion 4/5. the way we eat our tires during the 2nd half of the season, not only i highly doubt it but i believe we will get annihilated they only hope is the new floor corrects what is going wrong or we find something magical about the setup.

If you as a Ferrari fan gave up the year as far as winning a race or 2 more ; [You are the fools!] Our team on the podium is still worth watching for!! Talking 2023 already is for fools only fan wise !

The weather forecast for Suzuka is wet on Fri for FP1/2, sunny but cloudy for quali and a mixture of sunshine/showers for the race, still a few days away but maybe that could help us with tyre deg if stops are needed to change compounds. Or not?!

Not really approaching this weekend with much optimism as our race pace just seems so much poorer than those around us. With the way we manage the tyres just isn't at the level required. It would be okay if were a second faster than the field and then the downside to that was tyre degredation but we aren't faster. Mercedes might be slower but they manage their tyres so much more that they end up being a threat to us in the race. It's definitely something we need to sort out for 2023.

Priority now is to maintain 2nd in WCC and beat Mercedes.

Mercedes getting 2nd would be a disaster.

new fund cure the evils of F1-75 with rake? It takes its cue from the RB18 but working on its own concept. At Maranello they believe that the new Spec is a good step forward and for this reason it has been fitted to both F1-75s.

Ferrari used the updated bottom despite the wet because it would give something with higher car then useful now x TD and 2023. F1-75 tomorrow will try to mention a setup + rake

Sky just briefly spoke about 2000, That joy that brought us (most of us) doesn't feel like it was as long ago as it is.

Its amazing how smooth the ferraris are after the floor update. There's no porpoising what so ever. They are riding like redbull now

Expecting a good quali. I hope this new floor is going to rectify our tyre wear problems.

We look faster In S2 but slower in S1 and S3

    Compared to max

Edit: both out on used softs for first run in q2

1.30.444 for Sainz and Charles just 0.042 further back

Good laps for both considering the used soft

Yeah the track seemingly ramped up a bit but through on used softs, will take that every day.

Great effort from our boys. Just didn't have the pace in that last sector but fantastic S1 and brilliant S2.

Now let's just hope we can put Max under pressure tomorrow.

Not gonna happen so as long as Binotto stays.

An important joke from #Binotto on #badgetcap decisions: “there are discussions taking place, points that FIA is contesting but I fear it will end up like melted snow in the sun. But the important point will be what was granted "

Good quali from our boys and maybe a bonus that Charles is P2 rather than pole, which hasn't done him many favours this year. Max may get a penalty, though I doubt it. Weather tomorrow will play a part, but the revised floor seems to be working.

Agree with you. Maybe 2nd will prove better than pole.

Can you add the theoretical best laptimes for each driver? LEC's Q3 2nd run S3 was only a yellow.... What if he had some his PB?

Yes, and Charles keeps P2 on the grid after Max has just been 'reprimanded', but no penalty. Quelle surprise!

That is no surprise at all. A reprimand is standard in such cases. It was just an unfortunate thing, but nothing happened and both were not on a flying lap.
You can run like the wind, but you'll never outrun the Prancing Horse
