Both the team and driver have made mistakes. It's not solely on the driver.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Of course Vettel will get the DOTD, but Charles is the real DOTD.

To be fair strategy is two part equation. One is what computer says and the other part id on driver to deliver.

Chrales made this race himself, done an incredible job with the first stint by going longer and keeping up the pace. But he/Ferrari took an unnecessary gamble, he was less than a second behind Perez at the 1st stint.

He had more than enough pace to go for the undercut and keep Perez behind.

Yeah, this team deserves all the praise in the world. RB strategists should be thrown under bus for costing Perez P2, doesn't matter even if they're the champion!

The team is to blame for the overall season standings. He didn’t build the engine components than failed, he didn’t make the terrible strategy calls. If anything his mistakes are due to having to over compensate for the mistakes of the team. So again, the teams fault.

    Give it up sugarlips.

    SAI over HAM.
    LEC over PER.
    SF over MB.

Yeah, let's forget, Baku, Spain, Monaco, Canada, Silverstone and Hungary while keep on highlighting France....

Typical ultras. Ferrari can't be blamed for anything, it's always driver's fault.

You wanna go there?.? Without the team crappy strategy calls and with a better more reliable engine this kid would have had a shot at the WDC....so there put that in your pipe and smoke it
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Great drive by Leclerc. He made the race himself. Stellar performance.
Reminded me of Seb against Bottas -> Bahrain GP.

P2 in WDC & P2 in WCC. Ok for now.

Expecting strong performance next year. Need a WDC title with Leclerc.

You only ever blame the team, fact is Charles has made mistakes as much as the team.

There needs to be balance though. You can smell the dissapointment in here that Ferrari didn't throw it away due to poor decisions from the wall.

    Congratulations to Charles, Mega drive!

Congratulations to Ferrari, holding on to P2 in the constructors.

Congratulations to Saniz for passing an ailing Hamilton…

And thanks to Hamilton for holding up Perez and for breaking down lol

In retrospect, it probably wasn't the best strategy, but fortunately Perez is not in the same league as Charles.
At least Ferrari were committed to their plan.
Hopefully they will make the necessary changes for next season.

Looking forward to next season anyway...

If the rumours are true and we have much more to come from the engine. We have to find a way to not kill the tyres in the race, that should be the big focus for next season.

Tyre management was okay today surprisingly
