Year in, year out. 15 years on, Ferrari can't figure out how to built a car. It's beyond sad.

Who do we fire now?
But he was just the TD. Surely the chassis guy and the aero guy should go. Even the powertrain department should lose someone. Only the strategy guys were on the ball.
It's obvious this whole team is rotten and can't build a car for the life of any of them. Probably we should just buy an AMR23 and paint it red.
Get rid of Carlos, he's too slow, Charles wrecks too many cars.
Bring in some new talent, maybe some English drivers, engineers, carpenters, and electricians. they'll change everything around.
My tinfoil hat is on, over 6000 km in testing over the 3 teams running our engines. Plus whatever KM’s we did on our own dyno during the winter. Zero reliability issues.
First race of the year, issues arise only on Leclerc’s car. It’s been noted that it was a human error with wiring. Is someone within the team sabotaging Leclerc? Seems outrageous, but who know anymore.
Anyway, still doesn’t account for our garbage car that has no pace and eats it’s tires. Ugh. So frustrating.
~FORZA FERRARI~
Calm down people. One bad race doesn't mean the end of story. Ferrari scored 46 points at last year's first GP and we all how that year turned out.
If no improvement on tyre wear is made by the Spanish GP, then sure, the knives, pans and whatnot can come out. But until then, sit back and relax. Plenty of speed is left in this car.
I would wait to see how it does in the next few races. Using a car with low DF settings on a track that should be at least medium DF and has a very abrasive surface, could mean that this was a track specific occurrence. Maybe let's see how it does in a couple of weeks.
Let's get clear about something.
F23 is mediocre. Build quality is zero, tyre managment awful, lack downforce.
RB with their "moving floor" have the ad to beat for the years to come. Unless some one builds a better suspension and better aero from the floor, they will stay unbeaten.

David Sanchez, the chief engineer of vehicle concept, has resigned and will leave Ferrari after more than 10 years.

Didn't expect that
If he already has a destination, then it seems clear it was his decision. He may not have been happy seeing Binotto leave.
Rest in Peace Leza, you were a true warrior...
Amazing!
But if the head of the vehicle design/performance/aero/whatever leaves at the start of the season, if he actually left and was not walked to the exit, I believe it's not good.
There is a discussion about the RB's floor. Some think that the floor acts as a huge anti-roll bar others that it flexes. This comes from the push-rod connection of the rear-suspension. It is on the floor and some think that either the floor is a huge anti-roll bar, or that the suspension movement flexes the floor. This way the car has a stable platform under all the conditions, thus it has this huge performance advantage. Not because it has the highest downforce values, but because it's stable.

Ok it's obvious know that the team is falling apart. For various reasons (mostly being the only team not have its base in England and the stressful atmosphere from the team itself and the country) we have become an undesirable team for technicians/ mechanics. Unfortunately we will be nowhere for many many years!!!!!
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
I seriously doubt Sanchez wanted to leave.
My guess is there was an understanding at Ferrari that if SF-23 failed to address last years design issues, heads would roll at the technical department. It's been clear since testing that Ferrari suspect they have fundamental design flaws that will either take half a season to catch up to RBR, if they catch up at all. You could see it on the teams faces.
Like Binotto before him, Sanchez is being given the dignity to say he resigned.
There's no smoke without fire, is he the first of many to desert the sinking ship or was he shown the exit? Will we ever know the truth, but it's still bad news right at the start of the season.
The resignation of Sanchez can only mean that the SF23 is a disaster. That is surely the most probable reason for a long-standing senior engineer to leave at the beginning of a season.

Just a thought. Is it worth starting a "Ferrari Personnel" thread?
