Happy to hear upgrades were on both cars. Heard yesterday it would only be on one, and if that had been the case the upgrades would not have done anything comparing the times of both cars now.

You can run like the wind, but you'll never outrun the Prancing Horse
The weather forecast is predicting an 80% chance of rain for Sunday.
It's not how start but how you finish.
Soon enough there so called secret on there DRS will be discovered and probably will be ruled illegal by the FIA once found its just the way f1 works .
The FIA knows exactly how that car works because they need to approve the car before the start of the season.
The word going around is that when DRS opens, the car lift because of the open wing resulting of the stalling of the beam wing and the loss of the suction effect of the floor, so the car goes faster on the straights.
Ferrari are working in this area with their rear suspension because it's all tied up to the secret of unlocking the race pace.
What happened to Charles? I see he caused a red flag on timing
He crashed on turn 6
Lost the rear a bit and then went straight on full lock of the brakes, into the barriers and broke the front right suspension
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
A win here is probably a big ask but podium for sure all going well, mission come home with a satisfactory points.
Charles states the obvious we are far behind red bull, guess what Charlie boy so is everyone else, just get on with it and keep the car barrier free except that it is what it is mate.
At 1st look ,we are on the same page as Baku (not any gains from the floor ??!!)
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Race pace looks awful, 1s behind RB. This will be a very long season…
No doubt ferrari are working hard on the issues, but it will take time there are no quick fixes no miracles etc.It will take team work and innovation to solve the issues.Ferrari is not alone battling the runaway redbulls all other teams are the challenge is which team from the pack are going to be the first to topple this redbull juggernaut. This is the challenge, then once achieved stay there at the top.
I find the talk of low engines modes moot, after all all the top teams run with low engine modes that get increasingly increased as the weekend progresses.
Low engine mode or not, we won't win anything if we don't improve our tyre deg. It's a fundamental problem since forever, I am not sure why a team like Ferrari can't get this solved. It't pathetic at this point, every year it's the same topic. We can't even look for Saturdays anymore as the result has no impact on the race whatsoever, as there is nearly no chance to stay at top.
AMuS reports that the new floor caused more confusion...

Long run pace looks solid. Tyre drop off isn't looking that bad.

It doesnt look good . it looks like its worse then Baku. Like we arent great for Q ,i mean we look 2nd begind Ves ,and we might be worse in the race .
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
The car looked quite understeery in the sector 1. Charles pretty always missed the turn 1 apex. But strangely, the car looked the best of the field in that twisty 2nd sector slow corners.
I think the pace is getting dictated by a compromised setup rather than an optimal setup.
Of course, I'm just an armchair aero expert on the internet and can't hold candles to the immense knowledge of Ferrari's engineers.
But IMO, Ferrari should be focusing more on the mechanical upgrades than aero upgrades. I don't think the drag or the downforce is holding this car back, it's tyres aka the contact frequency and suspension geometry. Plus the ride height as well.
Whatever they are cooking up with the suspensions, it better deliver.
If it's true that the upgrades aren't working "as expected" it does make we wonder how much longer this non-correlation is gonna continue to happen at Ferrari, it's been happening for ages now.
