top 4 on softs while Carlos is on hard...sums up another poor race strategy. Carlos is such a passive driver and will never look for an attacking race.

He’s being realistic before start of the race itself. Where he mentioned, Merc & Perez will up there. Regarding Aston he wasn’t sure. It ended up in similar to his yesterday quali comments.

They are doing literally the same laptimes mate.

Sainz's middle stint on new mediums was slower than Charles's stint on softs, his last stint was also slower than Charles's. He was only faster in the first stint, when he had the softs and Charles was on hards.

We should fighting with Perez / Mercedes in this track with those upgrades, not failing behind Alpine

Traffic makes a big difference. Look at Norris, was P3 in qualifying but ended race in P17. The mid field and upper midfield were very close this race. Only the RB and Merc were ahead today, the rest were closely matched.

Alphine did bring upgrade in Baku which did wonders for them & where as ferrari more or so same. It’s clear that Ferrari is 4th fastest team, soon if they don’t act will be leapfrogged by Alpine..

Sainz didn't fight the Alpine nor he had any trouble from them. Leclerc was forced to because of his pit lane start.

That’s the point! The ALPINE was faster than Ferrari. There were times where he was dropping back from Gasley on arguable better tires. The Ferrari was nowhere today. It’s a dump truck.

My prediction is close Sain P5 and Charles P11 (P10) , the upgrade didn't do better

Charles did 25 laps on softs in the middle stint and had zero drop off. He overcame a 6 second deficit to Gasly in the last stint. The pace, as well as the degradation, was there. But his position masked it.
