The purchasing of MotoGP? Probably to expand their portfolio. Probably to expand the number of MotoGP races on the calender which means more money for Liberty Media. Probably to tie in MotoGP with F1, F2 and F3 calender.

Saw that. Like Newey is actually going to sign with that "winning" team. As long as Lawrence has his son as a driver on AMRF1, the team will always achieve mid-field results regardless how good the car is. That team should be called Alonso Martin F1.

At this point of his career, I don't think he's in need of money. If anything he's probably in need of a challenge.
And I have a feeling that IF there is a time he'd come to Ferrari, that time might be now.
