Andretti opened new offices in Britain.
Wonder if they'll be awarded a spot or if.maybe they'll buy out Alpine?

Looks like Alonso is staying with AMRF1 for 2025 and 2026.

The team should be called Alonso Martin.

As long as Lance is on the team, they'll never hit their stride.

Something tells me that won't be for long.

so would we see TWO spaniards at AM for '25 and '26?
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

I find it possible. Let's not forget Alonso is Sainz's hero. There are many ways to sell this.

Plus they're going to be a Honda works team in 2026. Wonder how Sainz and Alonso would get along as team mates.

IF they become team-mates, Alonso will be AMRF1's priority since he has more input in car development; he has a very good history at adapting various formulas. I think Alonso will be ahead of Sainz in quali and race pace.

UK based (which means success in your views), with the mighty Dan Fallows (remember you promoted him so hard) it seems like they can only have great success.

Lol....this is a father-son hobby. The only reason AMRF1 is lagging in the WCC standings is because of Lance Stroll. Same can be said about Racing Point as well.

AMRF1 is building a $200 million F1 facility if you didn't know this already.

If the car is as good as Alonso makes it look.... Merc, Mclaren and even at some tracks Ferrari, have to thank Lance Stroll for being the second driver.

Looks like Leclerc has been doing long hours in the Sim to fix his tire issues during qualy.

Says he's found a solution. Let's hope he puts it on pole in China. I want to see him in clear air at the front speeding off into the distance.

    This is good news.

Am I reading that correctly, Sainz's average pace was better than both RB drivers?

F1's first wearable trophy. Designed by Pininfarina, paying homage to the tradition of the winners wearing laurel wreaths, it is embedded with sensors that trigger the trophy to light up when worn around the neck.

    It's beautiful imo.

What's the consensus on this proposed new points system?
    I think it makes sense.
The lower teams should be able to fight for points on merit not just when one of the big guys gets knocked out.

Don't see any problem with top 12 getting points.

    where does it end then?

if 11 and 12 are both getting a single point, give a point to everyone who finishes on the lead lap

I see the point. These teams spend so much money to start a race and fight for places when they know they won't be rewarded unless some catastrophe happens.
Points to 12 at least gives them something realistic to strive for. Plus they get a piece of the FIA money handout, which I think they deserve.

Need it even more if they're going to increase the number of teams. If there are going to be more manufacturer teams, what chance will Haas, Williams, VCarb have to get into the top 10?

Ok, so when Audi enters the sport and will join Red Bull, Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren and Aston at the "top", will we need to revamp the point system again for the first 14 to gain points? It makes no sense. Either make it so everyone gets a point, or leave it be to have some consistency.

There should be a point in participating in F1, meaning, that at the end if every single team gets point, no matter how they perform, that could very well act as a improvement detterent. I believe teams should compete for those points which give that money.
    And it should be hard.

wow....spend money on useless stuff, rather then doing that on parts that actually would yield peformance...

who knows, maybe this livery will bring us 3 tenths or so.....lol

I believe the livery change is to mark 60 years when Enzo protested that his F1 cars were no longer be wearing red. It was the Ferrari 158(1964) of the last 2 GP's where they wore blue and white (NART).
