Red Bull is ahead, but that was to be expected. But we don't have anyone else to worry about.

But it seems Ferrari manage practice to qualifying well, but something crops up when they go from qualifying to race. Hopefully that will not be the case here in Jeddah, as it was in Bahrain.

If everything goes well … given the race pace… it should be P2 & P3 for Ferrari.

SC probability is very high on this track. It’s better to have tyre advantage & good drs.

For some, but for the majority, WDC defines the success. That's why most of us here are still bitter about 2008.

Max ended the Mercedes dominance in 2021, and no one in the Mercedes camp cared about their WCC.

Yup, but something always goes wrong quite frequently at Ferrari during the actual race. So they need to demonstrate that they've the ability to do clean race management.

only cause they wanted Hamster to have EIGHT to beat all records....they STILL cared VERY MUCH about the 8th constructors championship

Once again we are losing too much time in sector 1. Don't know if it's power related (we turned down the engine) or drag or lack of downforce ?

Russell looked alright on the Mediums otherwise P2 and p3 should be doable

Why are we turning down the engine at this stage though? We've already had a proper race where our engine performance was laid bare for all to see, why try to hide it again?

Because you only get to use 4 engines to last 24 races.

we look miles off judging by this.

Perez had no deg on the c2.

Unless Sainz is sick and that c4 is just too high deg to be a race tyre. Or the Red Bulls are using full engine for all their laps.

Soft-Hard strategy is being considered . I think we will run Soft-Hard with FP-2 rear wing and Medium-Hard with less drag rear wing

Early days but the way I see it a good platform has been delivered. It's way more positive than last year.No doubt an interesting season ahead.

Sainz has appendicitis so won't take part in any more of the weekend and requires surgery.

    Bearman to take over.

Carlos Sainz has been diagnosed with appendicitis and will need surgery. Starting from FP3 and for the rest of the weekend, he will be replaced by reserve driver Oliver Bearman. Oliver will therefore no longer take part in this round of the F2 Championship

By missing the qualli & race he gets 2 weeks & 2days off rather than 2 weeks if he raced. He must really be hurting. Clear sailing for a Charles podium!

Things just got interesting for Ferrari in qualifying and race.

Hope Sainz's surgery goes well and recovers well and fast.

yeah, it's gonna be hard for Bearman as he's pretty green in this car but i'm sure he'll give it his best

Different tyre choices between us and the others in FP3
We use 1 set of mediums + 1 set of softs, while the others use 2 set of softs
