Looks like it's going to be active aero and a KERS like boost to pass system.

So i made a graph about 2026 ERS-K deployment compare to current regulation . The override mode is crazy , at 300km/h the ERS-K should give 1100kW which is around 1475 metric Hp , hence they abandon DRS .

    Current regulation :

    P(kW)=1850-5 x car speed (km/h) when below 340 km/h.

P(kW)=150kW when equal or above 340km/h

    2026 regulation :
    - In normal deployment

    P(kW) = 1800 – 5 x car speed (km/h) when below 340 km/h

    P(kW) = 6900 – 20 x car speed (kph) when equal or above 340 kph

    P(kW) = 0 when equal or above 345 km/h

    -In override mode :

    P(kW) = 7100 – 20 x car speed (km/h) when below 355 kph

    P(kW) = 0 when equal or above 355 km/h
Still waiting for the real Scuderia to comeback..

Replace the MGU-H battery pack from the old regs with another MGU-K battery back for the new regs.
It's not how start but how you finish.

I'll die if they limit the RPM even more , maybe let's bringback refuel and we will have better race/sound too

CArs should be louder without the MGU-H on the turbo.

On the 2026 engine = what the noises from the paddock say is that the endothermic part of the Ferrari engine is very, very good. It has already reached an interesting lifespan, to complete a race with 75 kilograms of gasoline.

    Good news.
I expect Ferraris PU to be at the top of the heap.

I'm not getting any hopes up until that thing is out on track and keep in mind they managed to win a grand total of three races in 2019 so it's not the only thing mattering here.

That being said, if it's a good engine it definitely won't hurt, but with all of those manufacturers involved someone else possibly has something even better under wraps and aren't leaking to the media about it.
