2018 Austrian GP - Practices and Qualifying

Track is wet currently. Leave it to mother nature to muck things up for all the teams during FP's, quali and race.

Let's see who shines brightest under these adverse conditions.

Well its gonna dry up probably soon, no rain is expected in Spielberg when looking at the radar image (all the rain is by us in Slovenia and Croatia and going in the direction NE-SW.), also today some sunshine is possible.

Its the tyres, look here in FP1 we look to be straight on the pace. We will know more after FP2 of course.

Most important thing is that it didn't rain and that the team went through the entire FP1 program. The traction looks very good out of turn 1, 2 and 3. Now they need to fine-tune the end of the lap. Merc also look good but RBR seem to struggle in the last two corners where logically it should be their best bit of track on this circuit. Let's see the overall picture after FP2. No rain, please.

Am I going crazy or do the cars visually look really slow around here despite putting in faster lap times.

Ferrari #5 looking good, 2-3 tenths in FP2, I’ll take it, however it’s a shorter track so maybe some work to do in the night

Look durable for the number of laps people are doing. Somehow they don’t last by the time car reaches S3. Strange

Seb keeps locking up his front right, maybe his race setup not perfect yet.

Although his long run pace looks mighty compared to Red Bull.
