It would really suck if it rain on any day. McLaren will be the happiest.

i hope we see some major upgrades..
I was watching a show with scarbs and peter windsor and scarbs said that there is another team that is blowing the top of the side pod area to influence the exhaust gasses.. He cannot name the team though..

Pic of engine cover in Mugello. This is the old engine cover. Expect new one on Wednesday. But tomorrow should be different exhaust position to the one that's been used the past 4 GP's.

4 Poor races with that engine cover/exhaust position and we still have faith in it? I hope we don't waste 3 days of testing still trying to "figure" out our exhaust, only to have it fail again...then scramble to fit on the RB/Sauber engine cover for the next free practice. Heres hoping our boys know what they are up to! Forza Ferrari

I have no clue how reliable the source is; but, I did come across this bit of info:

"No, the car remains with pullrod (front) suspension.

"What is certain is that Ferrari has completely changed its exhaust system. The sidepods will also be more extreme, additionally there is a new nose -- it is rumoured Ferrari is one of the teams that recently completed a nose crash test," he added...

They have to start with a baseline, which is the exhaust configuration used in the past 4 GP's. The data from Jerez isn't really comparable to Mugello. So the team will start with the exhaust like it was in Bahrain. Then they will change it, get that data and then probably go back to the baseline again, to make sure. It's all very methodical.

Here's a great article on how to test an F1 car. It's in Italian, but with Google or Bing translator you should get the gist of it. This article is written by Former Scuderia Ferrari Engineer Luigi Mazzola who is very knowledgeable & even more respected around the paddock--> http://www.blogf1.it/2012/04/30/ecco...-in-formula-1/

Alonso fastest time so far, 1.37.670 lap 7 of his first stint..............although thats to be expected I presume, with Mugello belonging to Ferrari anyway, however..........looking good :)

Nice. Looks like w're looking to channel the gas down to the gap between the diffuser and the wheel to seal the diffuser.
If it work out, might be more advantageous that Red Bull. I understand that Red Bull is still having trouble channeling the side pod air to the diffuser. Our sidepod already beautifully channel its air to the diffuser. Just need to fix the exhaust
