From what Im reading so far on the f1 reddit Mercedes are sliding around a lot on the Softs. Can anyone confirm.

Can we be really down 0.4-0.5 tenths after 2 weeks of rest? That would be huge...Especially on a track where Pirelli suited their tyres for mercs.

I knof it's only Friday and I don't want to be pessimistic.. I only think it's realistic there will be weekend where everything will go good and there will be some weekend where it son't be that good.. This weekend seems to be the latter.. We seem to struggle on apce (which ofcourse can be improved, but still MErc and RBR look very strong). But we also seem to be on the back foot with tyres, since we have the most SS and these aren't working..

It's almost like I'm reading the Baku practice thread. How many times were ferrari off the pace in practice this season by a couple of seconds and came back in Q3.

RB always try to top on Friday.

Still, I don't think you can deny RBR look strong, definitly VER on this long run..

I am watching Seb now live onboard for already 10 minutes, he is not pushing, just driving to the delta. The car looks very stable in every corner, with very good grip. Nearly no correction on his steering wheel. We are 0,3 down on Hamilton on the soft tyres, but on the SS we are half a tenth down on Verstappen and faster than Bottas. It doesnt look bad, but we need to still find some time overnight.
