    Thanks to Google Translate:
The Maranello team does not need to revolutionize the SF71H as the Stella did in Austria: the aerodynamicists have decided a new fund in the rear designed for Silverstone. Pance closed and wings more discharged the other updates. If Mercedes led the biggest evolution of the year in Austria to counter Ferrari on a track that was to be favorable to the Red, the team of the Cavallino replica at Silverstone in the home of the team of Brackley.

The chess game of the evolutions continues in a world championship that is exciting for what is unpredictable: Enrico Cardile and David Sanchez, the aerodynamics of the Cavallino (even if the Italian became the coordinator of the 670 project, that is to say the single-seater of 2019) have scheduled the debut of a new fund in the rear that should also cover the speaker of the SF71H, because on a track like the English it is very important to have a good behavior in the fast corners.

Sebastian Vettel, however, just at the Red Bull Ring had complained in the race that the Red was a little 'less brilliant in the corners of support, even if Kimi Raikkonen then got the fastest lap of the race in front of the German, showing that the potential of Ferrari could be winning.

The change to the fund should guarantee those aerodynamic points useful to challenge the silver arrows at Silverstone, the third plant where Pirelli will bring the "lowered" tires of 0.4 mm because the mantle has been resurfaced as in Barcelona and Paul Ricard, the last two tracks where he won the ... Mercedes.

The Milanese company will bring the hardest tire combination to Britain: the Hard mix will debut this year alongside Medium and Soft. And remembering the winter tests it is immediate to believe that the former RAF airport is the ideal hunting ground for the W09 spec 2.

In Maranello, however, they are not ready to passively accept what on paper could be a Mercedes supremacy: Ferrari has not planned to revolutionize a car that is behaving very well, but continues that development work that, so far, has allowed promote all the new pieces that have been brought to the track, confirming that there is still room to get the most out of the SF71H.

At Silverstone we will need the maximum aerodynamic efficiency for which the technicians directed by Mattia Binotto will return to close the outlets of the bellies as there will be less need to extract the hot air from the radiators: in Britain it will not rain, but they are not planned torrid temperatures.

Also the wings will be adapted to the characteristics of the English track, although Silverstone requires a medium aerodynamic load, therefore with characteristics similar to the Red Bull Ring.

Last year the SF70H hit one of the most scorching defeats of the season in Great Britain, suffering from the double of the Mercedes: the music seems to have changed this year with a car that is more easily adapted to the different tracks.

It will be interesting to see if, once in a while, the Red that will be brought to the track in the first free practice session will already be configured in the right way, or if, as almost always in this championship, Ferrari should miss the Friday to find the right setup on which to do the development on the weekend.

This is one of the "black holes" of a fantastic season for the Scuderia ...

TBH was hoping there would be more, would a new floor beable to gain about 0.4s a lap through fast corners? i hope we have no rain threat this weekend so we can get a good setup

Its all mind games, but Ferrari have done very well this year at 'power' circuits. They didn't do that last year.

Didn't you read the part that ferrari don't need to revolution the car because the main concept is good? What does matters if its only a floor and a diffuser (main pieces that generate most of the downforce of the car by the way) and nothing else? If they work as are expected by the team, we will be fine. You are one of those people that prefer a bunch of upgrades everywhere even if you didn't understand what exactly each part do.

The big update that MB brought was about quality and from that point they wanted to control the race when Botas would work as pressure valve. Behind any other car thay will suffer like crazy. We need to get pole and make them vulnerable.

A New Engine Cover similar to the Mercs. I hope they use this new Spoon shaped rear wing.

Pole is not possible. If the fastest Ferrari is able to get within half a second of the fastest Mercedes in qualifying, I would consider that to be the biggest miracle of 21st century.

We were 3 tenths down the fast corners in Austria without these updates. Maybe all the updates will fall into place. You'll never know until saturday.

I think with Ferrari's strategy lately, pole might not be that crucial. The last races they've used softer tires on first stint and have had better starts than the Mercs. Even from 2nd or 3rd, if we are on softer tires we can still get the lead if we ace our starts. Provided there are no collisions.

Don't worry, There is more and Ferrari are keeping it close to their chest. Have it from a good source that they also brought a new shade of red on the cars this weekend. The molecular structure of the exotic pigmentation allows for less air resistance which means they should go faster.

Here's more updates other than the floor:

The ridge on the bodywork, as well as the three element brake duct winglet

better shot of the suspension winglets from the rear(these are not new but you get a better view of why there are designed that way for structural (suspension) and aero)

As per Mark Hughes, Ferrari was running higher engine modes unlike other Fridays so can't find big improvement like other Saturdays.

Damn it!, knew it was too good to be true, that was my suspicion as well since we were slower than mercs in race sim
