LEC had 8 laps to nail it, he did not. Team and driver - both should be blame but for different reasons.

He would, he locked up in last corner. Still, why was Seb so fast? Oh, the put him on track 2nd time, right.

How many did Seb have? I remember him being nowhere until he got out 2nd time 3 min before end of session to put that lap. Not Leclerc, they decided against putting him out.

He was P6 and faster than Vettel by miles. If they send out Vettel, why the hell they couldn't do the same with Leclerc?

It's more than that. No matter how much Binotto clams otherwise, there is something fundamentally wrong with this car.

He was there in the first stint itself. .3ths down on FL but then he hit the barrier & directly came into pits.

Here is what Sky Sports said on who is the quicker Ferrari driver in Monaco:

What is encouraging for Ferrari with Vettel's return is that the German has held an advantage over Leclerc all weekend.

So you can presume that he would have gone faster than the session-topping home favorite in final practice.

And he'd also be expected to be the lead Ferrari in qualifying.

So he was slower then Leclerc in first run, got again in the end while everyone improved and got into Q2, but Leclerc didn't? Is this good explanation of what happened? So basically, Leclerc was faster in first run, but Ferrari decided against putting him there on 2nd run, but did so with Vettel?

I'm not implying the team had no fault, they were complete amateurish, but I believe Leclerc could have done better also.

I agree. But so could Vettel, who crashed in FP3, was nowhere in Q1 and got to Q2 just duo his 2nd run (which Leclerc didnt have). Team is embarassment.

I think your equation is wrong.
Both are on their PB Laps in first set of tyres itself. Where vettel had a kick with barriers, then straight into pits. On end, Lec did a mistake in the final sector n then next lap straight into pits n missed weigh bridge.

Ferrari clearly miscalculated. Also it’s a kind of weekend where everything is a problem for ferrari

But I didn't, read it again. Vettel hit the barrier, had to go back therefore had bad time. Went out 2nd time 3m before end of Q1 and got to Q2.

Leclerc got better time from first run, locked on his PB, got into pits, didnt go out anymore - they thought he was safe. So no, my equation is not wrong. They could have gone with Leclerc out for 2nd time, but thought they were safe. NOBODY thought they were safe ffs.

Before Vettel crashed in FP3, he was around 3 tenths faster than Leclerc so yeah Sky is right in saying that Seb was faster than him whole weekend. But this shouldn't be the talking point, all I can see currently is midfield fighting with Ferrari for 3rd row.

Mate, Seb still can't match Leclerc FP3 time. Get a hold on yourself, everyone knows you are absolute Seb fanboy. What they did to Leclerc is something they didn't do to Kimi even, its EMBARASSMENT.
