We are losing in the straights but are making up for it in the corners. Should make for an interesting British GP.
Yes vet n Kimi was best at S2.
Vet almost gaining around 4ths over bottas in that sector.
This shows well for the things to come in British gp, almost all corners r similar to Austria S2.

It's a strange state of affairs when a Ferrari is faster than the leading team in the corners as opposed to the straights.... quite weird for my brain to process....

If we had the new engine in already I think we would dominate the Austrian GP. Cmon guys I want a total domination by Ferrari in Silverstone. Please let it happen. Its gonna be hard, impossible? NO.
Competition is not sleeping as well, but I have a good feeling.

Hey guys, I was just watching a slow motion video, in the Bottas steering wheel, the red lights turned green a a few mili seconds before the lights of the gantry went off.
Does that mean mercedes have some way of cheating the lights to get a good start?

This mean we have the best chassis!
Mercedes are winning because of the engine, thats the only reason!

I dont think its the rev limiter, its not lighting up all of the LEDs. Just two.
Then it goes off, and goes green just before.

What a surprise, a disputed call in an F1 race

I don't care whether or not Bottas got a penalty, I just hope the team, unlike a lot of people on the internet, don't get consumed with focusing on how we were hard done by. What the team should do IMO is use this as impetus to spur the team on, build the belief in the team that the best and only response we should have is to win win WIN.

Correct 100% ferrari can win out right stop looking for penalties like a cumbersome football team respond with positve attack.

yup.....Silverstone activates 2019 break clause with British F1 GP host at ‘tipping point’ under contract citing losses over the past two years. Idle threat.

One more street circuit is definitely what this series needs.

I know right...have you seen the what this track is going to look like? 90 degree turns and in the heart of the city. What a nightmare even though I've never been .

Not to mention: parking, security(heavy), local businesses will have to close(maybe a whole week to prep the track)....like I said....a nightmare.

I don't see that happening. There are "talks" of two more GP's here in the states with 1 or 2 more in Europe. Poland has plans of opening up a circuit(just saw the plans and that

one looks like no DRS will be avaliable cuz the straights are not long enough). So IF all true, we are looking at 22 to 25 GP's per year or one race every weekend!!!!! . The

teams are somewhat stretched already, so with 25 GP's per year, they would have to hire two teams to overlap the other. Then practice at Barcelona and winter

testing!!!! The way I look at it, no time off really, F1 24-7 365 days out of the year....every year.

Apparently, Lewis is the only guy that never make it to that london event, crowd booed his name lol

Lewis took a personal vacation instead of meeting with the fans.
even Button and Rosberg made it to the event.

    -------------

A Formula One spokesperson said: "We invited teams and drivers to join us at F1 Live London and we had a fantastic response from all the teams and 19 of the drivers.

"Today will be a great day for London's Formula One fans, seeing race cars and drivers close-up, sharing the passion for F1 ahead of the British Grand Prix."
