Ferrari can win next week if they don't screw it up. The tracks characteristics will suit the car

If they do, that is 3 races they could potentially have won...

A pole for Seb or Charles should do it !!! And please ! If it's Charles on pole; let him race his heart out.

We look like we cant find the right path to cure our problems, and to this the time window is getting smaller and smaller for next years car also.!!!
Vettel was quite clear. said it all.

It's disappointing the way he team talks about the upgrades. Takes 1/3 of the championship to bring a front wing and floor (that didn't worked). Mercedes and RB had new front wings by the 2nd and 3rd race.
Medium teams like Mclaren, ex-Force India, bring more upgrades than Ferrari. Even if we started the season with the fastest rate, by now we would have been behind.
They can't even copy, is ridiculous. the cut on the front wing end plate, took them 7 races to copy. the 'ears' over the f duct waiting... the front suspension extensions nowhere to be seen (1 year after appearing), the complex mirrors invented where adopted by all the teams except Ferrari. Where is the money from the team with the 2nd biggest budget going that they can even copy aero innovations???

McLaren is now ahead of Renault in the constructor points...now 4th.

Still way behind RedBull who is still 3rd.
It's not how start but how you finish.

Ferrari is in world of pain at the moment. How long this will last is the big question. As Ferrari supporters we can only gage our improvements if any purely on a race to race basis.Mr BINOTTO has been very clear with his summation of the car it has a problem and we are moving forward in solving it's issues.ferrari would be ecstatic if it could the car between 1 and 2 tenths difference between Merc and us this then will show progress .I suspect the Ferrari will be a lot stronger in Austria.

No my friend, not the same - Todt was not an Italian. Italians cannot control Italians efficiently, cannot impose discipline on them, cannot force them into working hard and over hours, cannot take a decision when presented with an alternative, but rather would try to keep both parties happy.

Binotto was born in Switzerland, so we will be ok then to avoid such stereotypes.....

The Swiss tend to be more grounded and less emotional from what I've seen, so let's pray that we're on the right track, trouble is that by the time it gets sorted, we'll be into the new 2021 regs!

It won't be sorted by 2021. With the new regulations Ferrari will be 3rd if not fourth in 2021. I do not see this ship righting itself any time soon. No one has the testicular fortitude to do what needs to be done.

    He's an Italian Swiss though?

And hopefully the new regulations can switch things up a bit.

If McLaren can get their act with car, norris would be a good force to reckon.
Else I see RB poaching him.

That would represent a disaster for f1 and liberty media they would not get back the money they paid Bernie baby no chance with out a Ferrari winning races f1 is a basket case.Tv audiences are down viewer interest has waned.Crowd numbers are dropping and it's all because of a boring f1 hybrid sterile period.Tyres Tyres Tyres that's all the talk gone refuelling gone exiting pit stops gone exiting racing gone exiting heart pumping strategies gone good old formula 1.Let mercedes have this hollow event if they raced back in the day they would be smashed. If the racing circuits could talk they would say what the he'll has happened to f1 could some team exited me once again.

Yes, and as the article posted here mentioned, F1 viewership is down 74 % compared to 2013. These are crisis levels.

If major sponsors start leaving, the sport is finished.

That article was for one channel in the UK, which went from showing live races to just highlights, off course viewers will drop as most fans will want to watch live. So it's really not a true picture.

Yes, though viewers have been going down since 2008. The figures include digital viewing.

And it says the 'average viewer age is 40'. Basically, all the old fans who are still hanging onto the sport.

Without a younger audience, it's also basically a dying sport.

As some have mentioned before, besides Mercedes dominance, Hamilton outside of the UK, is simply not a popular or well-liked champion. Mercedes has a relatively small fanbase as well and their team and management come across as arrogant and not likeable.

In pro-wrestling they say a champion is as good as his draw, the amount of viewers he can attract, in that sense, Hamilton is a weak champion. And that's exuding the lack of opposition he's been up against compared to Senna, Prost, Schumacher etc.

And in Monza 2018, Mercedes over the radio told their drivers to finish in formation to demoralise not only Ferrari, but all the fans as well as it was Ferrari home territory. This was when I lost all respect for them. Talk about antagonising the fan base!

Just referring to your last paragraph, I was not happy with Seb when he won at Silverstone last year and on the cooling down lap made a similar remark about winning on Mercedes and Hamilton's home turf, so no surprise that Merc wanted to rub it in at Monza. Both were stupid remarks and Seb's came back to bite him.
