Give Seb a Mercedes and he would dominate the entire field and win the championship by at least 100 points. Mark my words.

They are saying, he could leave and fill Bottas seat, which might be why hamilton is crying to keep bottas as his team mate in every interview

    He speaks alot these days.
Clearly one can see, Ferrari running with low engine modes + high fuel.
I saw a lap from Kimi fastest 1st sector of all on SS n then backed off.

i think fastest sectors for the session were

    S1 - Hamilton
    S2 - Hamilton
    S3 - Bottas

90% sure, will it be raining in FP2?

Mercs domination this hybrid era, do u expect them to struggle?. Ferrari will be closer definitely. Interesting qualifying too watch out.
My expectation is to be ahead, not closer by now. Its frustrating to see Ferrari chasing rather than leading the pack every weekend. Cant they do a better job?

A high speed track should favour mercs long wheelbase rather than our shorter one we should be quicker than them at hungary

Well, they are doing a better job!!!.......Leading the DCC with victories under our belt and finishing all GP'S on the podium except for Baku and Canada..........What more can you ask for, really ??

These RB guys never target mercs, because they are incapable of doing it. That's why they always target Ferrari n take them off during race.

Ferrari will do better in this track too.
Kimi need to pip bottas off, because this guy is giving cushion for ham n mercs if they have bad weekend.
Vet will do everything he can during quali to be right there.
Off late he's been making mistakes in final lap of q3. Which cost him 2 times pole position.

RBR will be right up there this weekend. In Austria RIC as matching the pace of BOT and VET for most part of the race. Here they should be better.. Would be a problem if we are behind them AND Mercs, will give HAM a cushion

Red bull and mercs also brought lots of small upgrades. Would hate to see . Mercs out of reach or Rb matching or ahead of ferrari.. Especually when the first 3 races looked so good

Sky said kimi is stronger on this track than seb. Maybe they'll be within tenths of each other?

I don't think so. It's Kimi not getting better out of the car.
So it's basically his driving style or set-up which he is preferring not getting him into top places.
Vet will outperform him at very race with an avg of .2-.4ths. because vet is getting everything out of that car.
Sometimes vet being over aggresive at corners costing him pole position.

We are running an upgraded engine, I guess it takes to time to verify that everything is in order so I wouldn't read too much into FP1 times.

It's FP1 guys, too early to predict. Remember FP1 in Red Bull ring & later Vettel out-qualified Hamilton

Woah the people losing it at FP1 times. I swear it's been every race this season. Can we get a break for just one? Ferrari will be close to merc on Sunday. Perhaps behind redbull, perhaps in front. But close. No one gains a second in 1 week! Come. On. People.

That's what some on here said about Alonso when he joined Ferrari, he was gonna break schumi's records etc...

when alonso joined ferrari we had competed for 8 out of the last 10 championships so no F1 fan expected ferrari demise plus vettel had proven he can dominate a championship (2011 & 2013)
