Ferrari's corporate and team culture does not tolerate having a loaded gun who thinks he's bigger than Ferrari in the team. Alonso being unceremoniously dropped the moment Vettel said he was available speaks volumes about that. Also, our refusal to recruit Alonso since then when Kimi flopped further confirms that. Alonso would've gladly joined us for 2018 and 2019 yet did not receive an offer. Why would we unsettle Charles like that for a 35-something driver anyway as well as us already having a 4x WDC in the team. In addition, no opposing driver has been more despised among Ferrari fans than him and his ego size does not even fit in Alonso's vast museum.
Charles is our future WDC and the one we need to give a settled environment, rather than dragging him into a Hamilton circus. The first time Charles drove circles around him, Hammy would throw the team under the bus immediately.
Hammy would likely either retire or sign a contract with the new Mercedes owner. His second choice would probably be McLaren if they became the new Mercedes "factory engine". A swap with Red Bull for Max perhaps is also an option. Ferrari is an extreme long-shot, either way.

Car looks a bit handful to drive today.
Car looks good
Getting absolutely hammered in sector 2. Nearly 4 tenths slower than Hamilton in that sector.
I call BS on the pace being genuine, gaining less than 0.1 s in the final sector, accelerating uphill, just doesn't seem right. I think that will be more than 0.2 seconds in Q3, as well as 0.15 seconds in S1, making it a fight for hundreds of seconds after S2 is done. Charles will need his cream in the engine tomorrow and Seb needs to save on his third engine.
Tyre temp been raised for this weekend
Thinking Hemlut has been right yesterday for once and Ferrari used tricks described.
Looks like we can only expect a second row start.
Either Ferrari is slow or they haven’t shown true pace.

So we are back being slow on the straights ???!!!!
How come and Ves is so slow in S1 ????!!!!
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
Shouldn't we be gaining a lot in the final sector?? Doesn't appear that way..... perhaps we have turned the engine way down ??
And the strange thing is that ,not only we are slow on straights, but we are again so slow in the corners!!!!
From Singapore we had fix that problem and we where fast in the corners .
What happened from Austin ????!!!
It's like we made the car slow everywhere!!!!
FERRARI FOR EVER !!!!!!!
We did not have a clean lap in the last 20 minutes or so.
So the result is not representative at all.
Stop whining please.
