Starting p8 on wet tires - Ham should be more worried than Seb
Yeah, thanks
I saw him winning championship at one of the wet track with damaged FW. Where massa was leading that race, then he gave position back to Alonso in order to win title.
But vet finished 5th or 7th in that race.
Initially vet spun n made contact with other driver. But still he went on to drive with damaged car.
Vettel struggled for his first couple of races while cutting his teeth with his new team, but managed two impressive drives in his 5th and 6th drives for Toro Rosso, a team that was averaging a little worse than 14th place in the 2007 season before Vettel's arrival. In the rain-hit Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji, Vettel worked his way up to third, behind Lewis Hamilton and Red Bull Racing's Mark Webber, and seemed to be on course for not only his but also Toro Rosso's maiden podium finish. However, Vettel crashed into Webber under safety car conditions taking them both out of the race and prompting Webber to say to ITV reporter Louise Goodman "It's kids isn't it... kids with not enough experience – you do a good job and then they it all up." Webber also specifically criticized Lewis Hamilton's erratic behaviour in contributing to the accident, describing his antics behind the safety car as "".[49][50] Vettel was initially punished with a ten-place grid penalty for the following race, but this was lifted after a spectator video on YouTube showed the incident may have been caused by Hamilton's behaviour behind the safety car.[51] Vettel bounced back to finish a career-best fourth a week later at the Chinese Grand Prix having started 17th on the grid while in mixed conditions. He collected five championship points, making it both his and Toro Rosso's best race result.[52]
Interesting reading, history repeating itself...
So, what is the weather like now?

Dont think the rain helps us. Our boys dont look like rain specialists, Kimi not liking it the most, while Seb is somewhat average. Max will be pushy as always and a lot of things can happen. Hamilton looks good in the rain so there's another problem.
Formula 1 drivers look set to face a step into the unknown with tyre choices for the Austrian Grand Prix, with Pirelli predicting the soft compound that many have not even run yet could be the best option if the race remains dry

Hamilton has done many laps on softs
Vettel average in the rain, in what world are you living? Remember China 2007, 2008 Monza, 2009 China, 2010(Australia leading in the rain before his braking failure), 2011 (Canada, just a mistake on his last lap cost him the GP), 2012 (Brasil), 2014 (amazing wet qualy performance in Malaysia and also quick in Suzuka), 2015 (fantastic race for seb in (wet) Austin Texas and British GP). In 2016 the car was lacking some general grip. And in China 2017 he was very good again. I would rate Vettel, Hamilton and Verstappen as the best wet drivers on the grid...
Rain spot at the circuit..

Oh god
Ultimately - for good wet performance, you need the car. Since 2008 Ferrari simply haven't had the best car, even Alonso wasn't able to pull out any miracles in the rain. Our car works well everywhere (except the awful Baku), so I'm quite confident if it rains. Seb is solid in the wet, we have the wet weather tyre tests under our belt and a great car that is very maliable to setup and conditions.
All in all, this has been a truly great season! An actual fight in the championship, Ferrari performing well, some drama here and there. Some rain today perhaps. I am hella keeeeeeeen!!
