    Question Tifosi Definition?

    Hi All,

    I'm writing a small piece about the tifosi and I realised half way through that I was making a lot of assumptions and generalisations so thought it would be a good idea to actually go to the source and see what actual members of the tifosi consider the definition to be. If people wouldn't mind, could you put into one sentence what you think makes a tifoso/a different to any other fan? (Also, if you could specify what country you're from that would be super but not at all necessary!)

    Thanks for any help you can offer!

    A Tifoso, [Synonym, Ammiratore], is the Italian word meaning the same as a Fan of for example, a sports team or an Actress, musician etc. Here the members are called by the Italian word, Tifosi, meaning fans of the Ferrari team, fans of Ferrari drivers [ For the most part!] .

    A Tifoso is an unconditional supporter.
    For me, who has been attached to Ferrari since 1966, I am simply a Passionate, a heartbreaking Passion.
    I do not like the word "fan" because in fan, there is fanaticism.

    Un Tifoso est un supporter inconditionnel.
    Pour moi, qui suis attaché à Ferrari depuis 1966, je suis tout simplement un Passionné, une Passion déchirante.
    Je n'aime pas le mot "Fan" car dans fan, il y a le fanatisme.

    A tifoso is someone like myself who supports Ferrari unconditionally in good times or bad, lives and breathes Ferrari and shares the passion only a tifoso/a can understand. And I am English with an Italian heart!!

    I guess it's all based on personal persception.

    And here are two ways I hear people say the word Scuderia.

    First --> which is about 95% of the people here in the states who CANNOT roll the "r" a bit.

    How To Pronounce Scuderia Ferrari

    Second --> the correct way
