Won't be long before both Mercedes decide to set a fastest lap 1 second faster.

but those are 20 points that those tyres gifted Mercedes. That's the point. What if the race were run on the thicker gauge tyres, did you see the overheating issues Mercedes had in Austria last year? The same thing would have happened in those 2 races.

So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Oh yes, Mercedes loves those tyres. Without Kimi's help, Hamilton would have won Silverstone too.

exactly. the complexity of the championship last year would have been completely different.

Lewis lost about 35 seconds because of the "Kimi inicident" at Silverstone 2018 last year. He gained all that back, yes, with a SC but he would have won anyway. Did you see the post race PC when Kimi "smiled". He took one for Seb at the time.

If this Greig A-Hole tells you otherwise, then he is wrong, a BS:er.

THESE TYRES HAVE TO GO. Back to 2018. Lewis will beat Michael's records otherwise, with BS help.

had lewis not been spun out by kimi, it would been a diff outcome me thinks and ballerina would nave NOT been on the TOP step
but of course you can't seem to get that.....

Vettel is told they are going for "Plan F," which is presumably for fastest lap. The German has a free pit stop, with Sainz behind over 50s back, and thus could bolt on the soft tyre for the final couple of laps and try to get that bonus point.

I'll have a good laugh if Merc retains the fastest lap on those old hard tires.

it's so sad when we're so bad and scrambling for extra points by pitting and going for fastest lap of the race.....absolutely discrace by Ferrari.....

Seb got it... barely got it... A shame that Leclerc couldn't beat Bottas though...
