Drivers will alternate over four days of testing

Maranello, 16 February 2019 – It will fall to Sebastian Vettel to give the new Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow car its track debut, on Monday 18th February. That’s the opening day of the first test that runs until 21 February at the Barcelona circuit.

Alternating. The German, embarking on his fifth season with the Maranello team, will alternate with Charles Leclerc over the four days. Therefore Tuesday sees the Monegasque driver make his pre-season debut, before returning to the cockpit on Thursday, after Vettel drives again on the Wednesday.

Next step. After the first test, all the teams taking part in the Formula 1 World Championship will return to Barcelona for a final run of four days testing, from 26 February to 1 March. Following that, it will be time to think about the first Grand Prix of the season, in Australia on 17 March at the Albert Park circuit.

well, well, well......Williams seems to having issues.

Rokit Williams Racing: “Unfortunately, we have had to delay the start of our pre-season Barcelona test to Tuesday morning."

Rokit Williams Racing: "We have had an incredibly busy winter at Grove getting the FW42 prepared for the season ahead....."

and, despite everyone’s best efforts, we need some more time before it will be ready to run."

so, will any of the F1 testing be aired here in north america....more like Canada.....EH!!!
if not will we be able to find some free links to watch it live??? or we'll have to wait until later in the day when hopefully some fans will upload some videos, or wait for Ted Crapitz to do his usual Note book at the end of every Test session day???
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Do you have F1TV available? They will be broadcasting the testing live. There will probably be people streaming it online though.

Seb & leclerc both had time in the car during the filming session, Seb & Ferrari ran through the filming and photo taking schedule(or whatever) pretty quick which allowed leclerc to get some time in the car and do some laps

James Allison bullish Mercedes have solved 2018 issues with tyre degradation and curve speed. Hmm.... How would they know since we're meant to have new compounds this year? unless he is referring to the new engine they have in terms of power delivery...

Hi all, I'm back as per usual this time of year. What a relief to see the Alfa in the same basic livery as last year's, making this example and the Haas the two best looking cars on the grid IMO.

Early days but the car looks pretty stable on track, no sudden twitch or snappy oversteer.

C2 is hard, as they’re being referred to as “unmarked hard tyres”
