So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Yes if we calculate the average time spent in pitstops all this season for all teams then Ferrari ends with the most time.

Seb can't overtake Bottas on those almost straight lines... so no engine advantage anymore it seems.

Merc have a new engine, and its the last race, Merc runs the engine full. The rest of the season they have it turned down, to ensure they get no penalties or failures. So no suprise there.

Because Leclerc is looking after his tyres and maintaining his gap to Vers. He's not racing Hamilton so no point overcooking his tyres by pushing hard.

Then what was the point to pit so early on his mediums? When others are doing basically the same or better laps than him and will have better tyres afterwards. Makes sense... not.

"The problem I have" says Hamilton, "if the safety car comes out and I have to pit for the hard tyre, I can't get the temperature into it and then we're in trouble". Bono reassures him, suggesting everyone else will be in a similar position.

What others? Even Red Bull can't keep up with Hamilton on the same tyres.

Ferrari did the right thing by pitting Leclerc early.

Hamilton, Verstappen and Bottas are all faster on the old mediums, than Lec on new hards. So there was no point in pitting so early. Now Verst will have new hards and will give Charles hard times... There was no need for pitting. And if there was, our tyre management is really bad, which does not bode well for next season.

"Something is not correct", Verstappen says after a slide. He's not massively happy under braking at the moment...
