He should have been smart and gained a few places on pit strategy and taken some points home.

What Leclerc displayed today was just stupidity, a great pass, and then a big mistake by forcing an overtake that COULD not have worked at that time.

I am getting worried about Leclerc being too much of a hot head, thats not good.

    Terrible race for him regardless.
He had nothing to lose. He was out of the points anyways. Glad he took the risks. Gutsy moves.

I know some people just love him for trying, but being that stupid while trying is nothing but that, stupid.

Rubbish. He only need to pass a few more cars with pit stops. Just throwing away points for no gain.

Probably could have stayed out longer than the pack before him and then overtaken some that way.

You should blame Ferrari's stupidity. Leclerc started from P16 because of Ferrari's boneheaded pit call, he had nothing to lose today.

Blame Ferrari for that. They threw points yesterday.

First car can dictate the pace. Except if the tyres falls off completely, LH will win this.

Actually that was a great move by Lec on Gros..!!
But similar move on Hulk where hulk didn’t give him space.
It’s all about understanding each other on certain moves. Hulk is not the guy to give up his position

He was 2 places from the points. The Ferrari would surely have been able to make some places during pitstop with how much faster we are than the midpack?

There could have been rain and all kinds of action. Ricciardo was holding up the field. A 6th place was definitely possible.

The overtake he tried was doomed to fail, either he should have waited until he got a better look, or saved tyres until he got free air in front.

Ruining the car by making a kamikaze move was not smart.

So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

There has been no rain as yet or no all kinds of action so rather pointless to say. He had to overtake due to our mistake yesterday so it was always going to be risky. Maybe he should have just drove behind others without trying to overtake...

Why is Vettel letting the gap get so big? Over 2 seconds now

    True that.

RedBull creeping up on the WCC points should both RB finish in the top 6.

No need to damage tyres, all Vettel needs to do is bring car home within 5 seconds of Verstappen.

Idiotic argument, Charles DID NOT KNOW it would not rain when he made that kamikaze attempt. If waiting in place 12 saving tires to be able stay out and push when others pitted, then that would have been better to ensure Ferrari got some points. The Ferrari are several seconds quicker than the midfields cars per lap. Either way the move that ended his race was stupid, since it was impossible to pull off = Leclerc misjudged the situation while being greedy. If Verstappen had done that, he would be called a joke and an idiot.

Considering RIC was holding up the pack, there was no immediate rush, the top 5 were gone already anyways.

Looking after the tyres. Still 23 more laps left, no point overheating them now

Lewis being honest for once, or acting again so his win will be “godlike - against all odds”?

hahaha he drives the race not to what might happen, he had to overtake simple enough to understand even for you.
