I wonder if Vettel is concentrating on car development. He has always said that the car comes first and then he will deal with his teammate.

Hope we can use our driver advantage to get lock out the front row. But the Mercedes car is soooooooooooooo strong.

One Ferrari works, the other is all over the place. Between two timed runs, some changes were made to Vettel's car and now a bunch more will be done before qualifying as well. Sadly, it's another Mercedes pole.

That's what happened in the second half of 2016. All races, all sessions, Vettel was doing development work.

So Ferrari was using Vettel as crash test dummy last year, to test the strength of the monocoque!

So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

And if Vettel is developing Ferrari, and let's say Hamilton developing Mercedes, shouldn't we kick Vettel out asap and offer Hamilton a contract he can't refuse!

That is why we improved in 2017.

Schumacher had testing sessions to do it. So he could push on race weekends. Vettel doesn't have testing sessions. So he has to use his race weekends to develop the car.

I am not forgetting Leclerc. He is happy with the car but Mercedes was right there as well and come Q3, they always pull ahead.

So not only is Hamilton beating Vettel on race track, but he is also beating him in wind-tunnel! No wonder Mercedes is so dominant, they have Lewis leading them both on-track and wind tunnel!

Schumacher and Rosberg developed Merc's engine. Pirelli have also favoured Mercedes since 2014. Hamilton has done nothing for Mercedes. He isn't a development driver like Vettel. He just has the press, the FIA, and the tyre supplier working for him.

Hopefully after all the development work which will go on till the end of season, Ferrari can close the gap and get closer to Mercedes than they were in 2018. In 2018, Ferrari was 0.23% off the ultimate pace.

But Michael left Mercedes in 2012 and Rosberg in 2016. And right now, Mercedes are as dominant as ever. Nah it's Hamilton....

That's what separates the Vettel's and Schumacher from the Leclercs, Alonsos, Hamiltons and Verstappens. One group chase an instant quick lap time without improving the car. The other group chases car development that wins championships.

We got closer since Rosberg left. We would be closer this year but Pirelli and the FIA keep favouring Mercedes. It's clear that Vettel has given up since Canada and is developing the car ready for next year.

I like the direction that Vettel and Ferrari have taken. Let them win the battler. We shall win the war.

Leclerc is starting to show his worth. If Ferrari didnt mess it up in Monaco and he himself didnt bin it in Baku, they would be neck and neck.

But Schumacher both developed our car and gave us championships, and Vettel failed on that regard miserably. Lewis on the other hand fully emulated Michael, you know developing the car and winning the championships....

If only Ferrari signed Hamilton instead of our current 40-mil crash test dummy.

Any news on the failed floor update for this weekend?
Karun said we kept the new updates but didn’t say anything about the floor

Oh they have already won the war.

No wonder Toto is so smug, having a driver+technical director+aero genius like Hamilton #blessed, who is keeping his team at the front every year!

Leclerc started to show his worth from Australia. He would have had more points than Seb if not for Binotto's retarded strategies. By the looks of Friday / Saturday practices, we might have our first 1-2 finish here in Austria since don't know when... unless Seb bins it or some stupid pit wall calls.

Blame Vettel...if only he put as much effort developing the floor as he did with those front and rear wings...

Kidding aside, no they are not using the floor here. But Leclerc said they know what's wrong with it/why it's not performing as it should.

When Danny Ric beat Seb, it was cause he was already using the Red Bull to develop the Ferrari, he is that good

Kvyat replacing Verstappen. Only a matter of time before it is made official that Verstappen is leaving for Mercedes.
