Bottas has higher speeds everywhere, and still Seb is ahead...beautiful

I don't agree with your statement, Vettel made mistakes, so I am happy with Ferrari performance and I am sure we will win tomorrow.

Good result I think. 0.3 sounds promising, hopefully our race will be there tomorrow. Seb got a great lap in, Kimi was a little off the pace in Q3 but he was right there in Q1 and Q2. Hopefully we can do something at the start as it is very hard to pass, or at least that is what everybody is saying

Guys... lewis is not that all mighty...given his experience...he could only outqualify bottas by less than 3 tenths.. but bottas was pushing hard and making mistakes...if he had a cool head...who knows what would hv been the outcome... and one more thing...if vet and ham drove the same car...say merc or Ferrari.. who do you think will be ahead...

What im trying to say is that 2010 to 2013 might not have been all about the car....if that was the case..we would have seen a lot of webber also...but seems to me that wider car and with good rear downforce ,it looks like seb can extract more out of the car...

Looking at the speed trap data...comparing redbulls and renaults... we were only able to go 1kmph faster...merc on the other hand 3kmph..faster...so what does this tell about the engine?? Or is it the drag factor... i dont think its the drag..because redbull and renault had the same top..co speed..considering how sleek that rb is..it only went as fast as renault...

Based on past experience i don't trust the pitwall. I think they should just let Seb and Kimi make their own calls, they have enough experience.

Personaly I think a big problem tomorrow will be the huge performance gap between Merc/Ferrari/RBR and the rest of the field.
With these new cars and there Aero-dependance, overtaking will be difficult. The midfield is closely packed so they will race hard with each other. At some point they will get lapped and a lot of time can be lost by the top team which will probably interfere with their battle. Since the tyres are this hard, one stop is most likely so not a lot do there...
Ofcourse all speculation but I think this could be a problem...
Pole will be ever so important

He's a future star and hopefully in a Ferrari, great to see an Italian back in F1 and full of promise. Reminds me of Jules Bianchi.

Overall a great job i think Ferrari can be proud very close and hopefully one spot better in the race.

Strong performance by Ferrari. I think last year Ham was on pole with 0.3s gap to Rosberg.

    2014: +1.588 (P5)
    2015: +1.430 (P4)
    2016: +0.838 (P3)
    2017: +0.268 (P2)

Thanks for those stats. I suspect this is probably one of the tracks where shows the biggest advantage over the fields, so being this close is a great start for the team. Can't wait for tomorrows race.
