Probably, but Vettel is only 2 tenths better then Leclerc's FP3 time. I am willing to bet kid would have 2-3tenths on him.

The only sensible thing to do now since the pitwall made that mistake not sending Charles out again in Q1 is to make him a blocker. Put him on one of the two hardest compounds, stay out for as long as possible and when the leaders catch up to him after their stops...BLOCK. That way Seb will be able to keep in touch and then hope for rival mistakes.

The only way Ferrari can topple Mercedes in the turbo era is Hy supplying Redbull with their engine..

The only thing good about today is that a Red Bull is behind.

From Chinese GP in the fight for PP only Mercedes counts. Max drove much faster than Ferrari.

Not to me. It was expected.

Rest of the season is done for me regarding Ferrari having a chance of winning this season.

    Mercs are on another level.

Ferrari will loose to RB in WCC .... that’s the concern now rather than catching mercs.

Ferrari slower car. Drivers are doing their best combined with their mistakes & horrible pit calls.

Not going to watch tomorrow as it'll be horrid. Charles at the back and prolly hit by backmarkers and Seb no doubt will hit the wall again. He's already done it 3 times.

We are bad very bad and it'll not stop until we sack the saboteur jock clear.

Gonna watch the Indy 500 instead of monaco. Hope we can do SOMETHING at Canada next time. otherwise this gonna be the most boring season of all time.

    I know.

I want Gasly to succeed but at the same time I don't. It's all on him really.

    On him?? Serious ???

Don’t worry, with ferrari pit calls & driver mistakes. RB can easily Claim that.

    You are underestimating our strategists.

I just hope Liberty spends more time showcasing the umbrella girls as that would be the highlight of the race for me tomorrow. Sigh....

If in Montreal where it's all about power and braking stability, Ferrari will still be so weak, I'll end up watching this season.

28-32L with a chance of SC ... it’s like a life for tyres to extend.

From where he is the leaders will probably be able to pit and rejoin and still be ahead of him.

Insane bit of car control by Lewis at Rascasse. Mental lap. Good for them.

I hope Charles continues to call out the team for these amateur hour mistakes... Ridiculous.

It's one thing if the car isn't fast enough, completely another to shoot yourself in the foot repeatedly.

Trust me, Italian media are going to be all over the Scuderia's butt and chomping on it for a whole week. It's going to be front page news on every article.

Ferrari might as well quit F1 if this is the best they can do after all these years, the car looks a nightmare to drive and the drivers are doing what they can but overcompensating and having brushes with the barriers, then the pit wall screw it up even more by not sending Charles out again in Q1, the writing was on the wall that he'd get pushed out in Q1. Unbelievable. I can't remember feeling as sick as I do now after all the pre-season hype, I don't trust Jock Clear and Binotto is out of his depth, so why am I still watching in the misguided hope that things will get better? End of rant, for now.

If Charles can pass a few cars in the first laps, cars that most likely will be on harder compounds as well, then maybe he can stay ahead of the leaders that pit around lap 25-30. It all depends on how many cars he will pass.
