Nani...I am having a brain fart this morning....it is the Paul Ricard track which is fast and free flowing....so it does favor the Mercs. I got confused with the London layout.

so so sorry for the confusion.

I won't claim to know much about Paul Richard circuit.
But if it's a great track, then I think it is good news, regardless of which team might be strongest there now.
Performance standing will always change, but a great circuit will remain as such

Last thing F1 needs is another street race

Here is a pic of the Paul Ricard circuit. Note, they added that chicane(2017) down that loooooong straight which IMO, I don't like it. Cars would have been doing close to

400kph/250mph if they did not add that chicane.

The straight is too long by FIA standards, so they had to add a chicane.

Great to have the French GP back on the calendar, but it worries me that HAM has already been tyre testing there this week so, presume others will get the chance to know the circuit at some point before next year's race.

Paul Ricard is a great track. I for one love to see this track in the calendar; it was about time.

That chicane has been there for many years. It hasnt just been made for F1.

I like the track, its about time it was added to the F1 calender.

After Ricard's death, the track was sold to Excelis, a company owned by Formula One promoter Bernie Ecclestone, in 1999 - Wiki

Excelis still trades, you can find out more about them here, www.societe.com/societe/excelis
Although i cant find any mention of Bernie, but that doesn't surprise me

Just add Excelis into the search bar on the societe site
