The tip of Force India's nose reminds me of a hammer head shark

If the nose was done better (it looks extremely simple) it would be a beauty.

If majority of cars have noses like these, we will have ducks races this year

They had very low floor last year so they needed just a couple of mm to go down, so their nose wasnt affected as much as by other cars...

Notice the additional space above the suspension mounting. We went for pull rod to avoid using that additional space yet its there. This is something that puzzles me. Lotus and Force India utilize every space at the top for the push rod mounting, while we're not.

At the risk of sounding like a lunatic, I'm going to make a guess that Ferrari is bluffing with this presentation nose and we'll see a different one later on

it better WIN races, and by that i mean LOTTTTTSSSS of them; otherwise what is Ferrari gonna say at comments coming from fans and media, this car is NOT only Fugly, but SLOW too....LOL

hope it's not true and will be SUPER FAST!!!!
So 2023 started off bad, but managed to claw back some lap time come end of the year. Lets hope SF24 will give us tifosi something to smile about.

Well, we said we had gone aggressive and compared to previous years that's certainly true. I thought there would be a few more clever additions to the car but we still don't have new front and rear wings.

The nose, the sidepods & sidepod channel, exhaust placement, inlet to blow the beam wing on the engine cover, DRS now moved onto the rear wing (like RBR). Looks very well packaged.

The diffuser is also covered up, so there could be something clever happening there.

What's the story behind this ugly nose? It looks like all other teams will be doing the same. Sorry if answer was in this thread and I missed it...

The funny thing is the conceptual drawings the car looked far more aggressive then what they unveiled today, hopefully that's what they didn't want to show today.

Looking at everything but the nose, I think the car looks very aggressive. The rear and the sidepods and enginecover look like they have some nice clever solutions....

As Hornet said. Why would Ferrari do this? With the pull-rod they have so much space above it that they could easily make the nose nice and clean. I don't think the bump is doing any good...

Looking at it I get a good feeling despite the nose. It looks like a solid ground to start from, and more important, looks like a winner :)

Probably because that little hump helps disperse air, but then they'd get caught by the engine cover bodywork anyway.
