I am searching for good, worthy to read F1 related books. Does someone have any recommendations for me?
I donīt care if itīs something about F1 history, or a drivers biographie or some other stuff.
Just finished Sid Watkinsī"Beyond the limit". Was very interesting and worthy a read.

Interesting thread. First F1 related book I read was a book by Kees van de Grint, a Dutch Bridgestone engineer who worked very closely with Schumacher in his Ferrari years. Very interesting but unfortunately for you it's in Dutch ;-)
Can't recommend you a book yet but here are some books I'm considering to buy and read: Flat out, flat broke by Perry McCarthy, the book about Michael Schumacher by Christopher Hilton and the books by F1 doctor Sid Watkins.

I only have Eddie Irvine books because I was such a big fan.
The Luck of the Irish by Adam Cooper---about Eddie's early years and the struggle of a driver with no financial backing to make it in motorsport
Green races red by Eddie Irvine and Maurice Hamilton---his early years at Ferrari.
Life in the fast lane by Eddie Irvine and Jane Nottage---his fight for the championship in 1999. a bit tear jerking.
These books all have a motor racing theme but they are also full of humour-------------like their subject.
Also
Schumacher The official inside story of the Formula Icon words by Sabine Kehm.
Don't know if that is any help to you.

One of the books that I love (but then I am an old-fashioned romantic :oops) is "Forza Minardi!", by Simon Vigar (Veloce Publishing Limited, 2008). I am now searching for other two books of the same editorial: "BRM - A mechanic's tale" and "Motor Racing - Reflections of a lost era" (about racing in the 50s-70s). By the way, if anyone has read any of these two and can give his/her opinion on them I would love to hear it. :-)

I love the book "Die wilden Jahre der Formel 1" by Helmut Zwickl. Itīs written in German, but itīs a nice read about the past decades in F1.

Thank you and yes, English is fine :-) If I cannot find them I will try Amazon - although I will insist a bit with the bookstore first, because I confess that for me half of the pleasure of buying a book comes from the opportunity to browse through the shelfs... Of course it always turns up to be more expensive, because I go looking for one book and end up with three! ;-)

I will try the Sid Watkins one you just finished, it sounds quite interesting.
