2011 new entries:

Following the press release of 19 March 2010 calling for expressions of interest to participate in the 2011 and 2012 seasons of the FIA Formula One World Championship, a number of interested parties expressed their interest. It was considered that none of the candidates met the requirements to be granted an entry into the Championship.

Consequently, the allocation of the 13th team will not be granted.

Thanks. Wonder if the prospective teams had to shell out any money to Bernie?

Where is the European GP being held?

Me too mate :-)

But despite whoever wins, I am looking forward to experience a grand prix weekend. Many of our members have attended numerous GPs and have been raving about how fantastic the atmosphere is and how beautiful the cars sound in reality.. Very excited that now I have a chance to witness it firsthand!!

:-)Thanks for posting. It's going to be a great season-early start in March right through to the end of November in Brazil thus cutting down the dreaded "closed season!!! Hope we have something good to cheer about at the end with a WDC and WCC. :thumb proverbial dreamer that's me!!!!

My aim is to do Silverstone & Monza next year.
Might give Silverstone a miss though if i can do Spa or Monaco instead. :-)
Hopefully Spa and Monaco year after.
It really is about time i did some of the great foreign races i really wanna do, like those mentioned above instead of doing Silverstone again for the 63rd time or something :lol

I'm returning to my usual combination of Silverstone and Monza next year. Not at Monza this year unfortunately, first time for a couple of years that I've not gone.

I was hoping to do Monaco this year as well but it's just not worked out. I've told Hayley we will do Monaco in 2012 :-D

Well Mandz
what most people forget is they only have a licence till MARCH 2011 so the 2011 event is still not sorted either. They also said they made huge losses again this year and only had 52000 on race day- which considering the grandstands were nearly all sold out and the GA areas were packed there must have been thousands there with fraudulent tickets or simply got in through the fences...............does not make sense and someone is telling porkies there (or its a ploy to get the dwarf to reduce his fees.........) We shall find out!

Sounds like a ploy to get Bernie to lower his fees to me. How are you doing? Email me or PM me from the usual source.

Well if anyone wants to do Spa then let me know. We have a great bunch from Germany, US, Australia, UK and god knows where that goes every year and (despite shitty weather like this year) have an absolute ball!
